I like that beerus is so powerful it is just not coherent with the statements during BoG. Now, with the new techniques introduced you can somewhat justify why beers is so strong because we have seen what upgrade is UI and Ultra ego and beerus seem to be very good at the first and master of the second. Maybe he also hides other techniques + destruction power. Sure it does not make sense based on previous statements but dragon ball was inconsistent in these things even back in dbz.

Logically speaking Goku should have surpassed Beerus eons ago. It literally does not make any sense why Beerus found any enjoyment fighting Super Saiyan God Goku considering that version of Goku shouldn’t even have been 1% of his full power. In my opinion Goku should’ve surpassed Beerus during the tournament of power when he mastered Ultra Instinct. It seems like that was the narrative the story was implying… at least until the stupid manga came out and showed us that was not the case.

The manga did ruin it. There is tons of source material that says jiren and mui are above beerus in the anime, people get it mixed up but it was stated that jiren was beyond the gods of distruction. They even made sure Goku forgot how to use ui after to weaken him knowing how strong ui was. I hope the anime doesn't follow the shitty manga.

It depends. Perhaps what we were told was the base power of Beerus rather than his abilities included. And if the scaling is exponential, then there is no reason to believe Goku SHOULD be stronger, rather than just debate and make speculations. Also, maybe different forms affect different people differently. Rendering the situation in a way that we cna't really draw any conclusions from it yet

The way I see it, each "1" in the scale would be almost like a fusion amp, so SSJB Goku would still be a 6 on the scale, at most a 7, while UI Goku in the T.O.P would be a 9 or a 10. Still, I feel that Goku should've surpassed Beerus by the Goku Black Arc, but Beerus should've still been able to defeat Goku until the T.O.P because of Beerus obviously having godly techniques. Whis should still be beyond Goku until Goku completely masters UI.

the 70% part is only true to bog movie, that movie was made with no continuation in mind it was the end of db after the last movie resurrections of f but the popularity of it kinda forced them to continue, therefore a new manga & anime was established where they retold the story of both movies but with different points to make a series, the 70% part was retconned and never mentioned again in either the manga or anime, we don't know how much he ever used against goku it could be 20 or even 30% the way it's being shaped up in the manga it's Definitely below even 15% cuz black frieza is stated to be close to the power of a god of destruction. that should answer everything but i do agree with you, they should 100% give us a clear answer as to where exactly does he stand in terms of power so that it becomes clear to everybody

Logically yeah and this is something I've wondered about for a long time myself. I don't really mind Beerus being stronger, but the way they went about it wasn't good imo. There's all these lines about Beerus' power and implications of him being surpassed, only for it to be contradicted later on. We hear stuff like "Beerus used 70% of his power vs Goku in SSG" and "Broly might even be stronger than Beerus" and even Whis stating (in the anime) that Belmod was physically stronger than Beerus. Imo, it would of been better if either they always implied from the start that Goku and Vegeta were NOWHERE close to Beerus, but left it kind of ambigious where exactly they stood in comparison, so that when it's revealed Beerus was actually x times stronger than what was shown it doesn't feel scuffed or pulled out of nowhere. Another way that would of made a lot more sense for the story is them showing or atleast hinting at Beerus training with Whis since BoG to stay ahead of Goku and Vegeta. I would of also been fine with this and atleast this way you could say "Well technically, they surpassed the level Beerus was at back then, but currently Beerus has gotten a lot stronger since then as well, so he's still ahead of the cast." it would solve alot of problems and contradictions.

💀💀💀 an entire video dedicated to a retconned statement from a non-canon movie. the super arc versions are the canon ones with the canon statements which override the movies which were technically z movies. and whis says that beerus was holding back but he didn't state by how much, making it consistent with beerus' unknown strength. yes if bog was canon, goku should be stronger, but toriyama clearly wanted goku and vegeta to not so easily become stronger than literally everyone he meets, probably because that's one of people's most hated things about dragon ball, including those who don't watch the franchise, because all they hear about is there's a threat, then suddenly goku gets stronger, and that's it ad infinitum, but having someone who goku isn't and won't be either ever or temporarily stronger than band-aids that. this is why canon vs non-canon is important regardless of what anyone says.

We don't know if beerus has another form like toppo plus he's taken on all of the gods so we can't really assume that just because gokus new forms are 50x or even 200x stronger than ssj god. The thing that separates Goku and Vegeta from Beerus is that Beerus possess mastery of both Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego, especially Ego. There's also Hakai Ki and immunity to Toon/Gag Force. Even though Goku possess a small hint of Gag Force, it would still fail against Beerus. Goku has UI and Hakai but no Ego. Vegeta has UE but no Hakai and UI. We might see Vegeta using Hakai soon though.

@@brunyplays2226 no even jiren can't compete with ultra instinct, that's why when goku went ultra instinct towards the end of the tournament jiren started getting beat badly, goku was way to fast and strong for jiren, the only reason jiren survived was because gokus body wasn't use to that physical strain on his body with that new form, why do think jiren was panicking when goku went ultra instinct

Ultra Instinct doesn't inherently have anything to do with the GoDs or Angels... it's juts that they're usually the only being's with the skill and power to achieve and use Ultra Instinct... we see Master Roshi achieve a version of Ultra Instinct and he doesn't use any God ki or Angel training....

@@VulxnyrieRoshi used a version of Ultra Instinct 💯 Goku used incomplete versions of UI like Omen and its just considered another version of UI.. and its never even been stated that Ultra Instinct requires God ki or anything like that... so like i said, UI has nothing to do with godly power ups or whatever
