I always check before leaving the cabin for the final time. I remember having the sun when left Arvia in Barbados. Our flight home was very smooth with tui.

I thought you were going to drink that mouth wash for a minute 😅. Barbados weather looked the same as when I was there pretty crap. You were brave eating the TUI plane food. I thought it was rank only ate cheese and biscuits. Looking forward to your celebrity vloggs 😊

I mean the drinks packages are expensive but not that expensive 😂 yeah each other port was nice but Barbados was very rainy ☔️ I mean food is food 😂 it was a different experience on Celebrity, videos should start coming soon!

I'm confused as why it was TUIs fault that the baggage wasn't on the plane? Isn't that the ground staff at the airport's job?

You're right it's the baggage handlers that are responsible for this. We were told that they were short staffed but from speaking to other people this is a common occurrence. Probably not equipped for an extra Arvia load of people each week

Great content as always! As a fellow solo cruiser, I always enjoy your vlogs! Wanted to ask your opinion on the Wifi package - I've never bought one for P&O before but am considering getting it for when I travel on Britannia this July. Do you feel it is worth it in terms of connection speed/quality or is it incredibly slow? I know there are 2 different packages so which one did you go for? And did you notice any difference on the sea days versus port days? Sorry for all the questions but it would be very helpful to get your thoughts! Thank you and keep up the great work!

I appreciate the support! For the WiFi, it depends on how you want to use it. I generally don't buy the WiFi as it's quite expensive and considerably slower than what you'd get on land. I tend to use mobile data as it always works out considerably cheaper, and you can use it whenever the ship is in port. Most contracts will include EU roaming, which is great for Med cruises. For others, I tend to buy an E-SIM. On my last cruise, it cost me $4 for 4GB of data in Turkey. My theory is that the ship spends more time in port, so it's more beneficial to use data, plus can use it for Google Maps if you get lost in port. Ship WiFi tends to cost at least £15 a day. Hope that helps you a little bit.

I really want to do this cruise but not until I know that P&O have ditched Maleth! On Iona at the moment, need to get some of the fish & chips from the quays tomorrow 😂

@@CaptureCruising It’s busy on Iona this week with half term but having a great time! They changed the itinerary slightly due to issues in Hamburg so went to Bremerhaven instead, in Rotterdam today & onto Zeebrugge next.

Yeah those school holiday cruises can get pretty manic. Remember Rotterdam being a really nice place... I'm guessing an overnight stay?

Oh dear not a great advert for Barbados or TUI. Hope your next holiday goes a bit more smoothly. Friends are going on Norwegian to the Caribbean in May - hope they get better weather🤞

Well I'm at the airport again now so hopefully Athens and BA nail this one 🤞 yeah I like NCL they're a good line. May typically should have better weather, I think March is the change of the season

You can't really blame TUI for the problems with Barbados airport and their ground crew. Also, P&O should have realised that the airport cannot cope with the thousands of passengers they fly there on a weekly basis.

You're right. The delays were caused by either other passengers or staff at the airport. We were informed that they had some staffing issues, and yes, the airport doesn't have the infrastructure or resources to handle an Arvia load of people each week. Five thousand is quite a few chartered flights.
