Doug is such a great guy. I recall the early days of Yellowstone - the first 10 years of wolf recovery. So hard to believe its been 25 years

Good speech and an important idea - that nature has value without humans value of it. This land not dominated by human domination is important that we allow it to stay that way.

A fine talk filled with paradoxical currents.Leave the wolf alone unmarred and untainted yet hunted.John Haines the great Alaska poet siad " I am haunted by the deaths of animals" yet trapped for a living.Paradoxical existences indeed.

Doug. I send you a howl. I beg your ear for a story. The story of wolf caring for earth, to bipedal colonialism. Not all hominids. the ones that stopped hunting and gathering. I am working on a historical fiction. I can send a summarized tale. I’d love to have you as an advisor for the wolf parts. Or co-writer. This is the time. I e watched wolves come back since 1995. I was 17. I’ve been drawn to wolf since memory.

This was absolutely the wrong person to speak for wolves. He always thinks and states that wolves need to be managed. Wolves should not be hunted period.

I would rather live in an environment dominated by humans than one dominated by wolves, bears, or any other predator. Wolves and other predators deserve to exist and so do humans. Some 600,000 human babies are aborted in the United States each year. Surveys have shown that some people value the life of a pet more than the life of a stranger. Every animal has its challenges and struggles. I applaud efforts that work to ensure the survival, health and well being of all creatures. My opinion.
