Love my 86. And every time I get tempted to sell it, I realize how hard it would be to replace if I wanted another one. Now the car is worth so much that even the wife doesn't bug me to get rid of it anymore

They look great, not too racey. very spacious, good gas milage and reliable. I'm very tempted to trade my fc turbo ii for one someday
@SidewaysGts3 жыл бұрын
@@SuperSick " I'm very tempted to trade my fc turbo ii for one someday" Funny enough- At this day, id say "good luck". a good GTS seems to be going for around 20-30~ k lately. you MIGHT be able to trade the FC turbo for an SR5 (Which go for around 7-10~ lately). It blows me away. Id never have imagine that an ae86 would be as worth as much as they are in todays market.
@SuperSick3 жыл бұрын
@@SidewaysGts perfect examples go for 20-30k gts or not. also, its hard to say what they're actually being sold for. just because its listed for a price doesn't mean it sold for that much and BAT prices can also be false. A car's auction might close at 30k but that doesn't mean the buyer went through with the purchase. I think its hard to say. I will say my friend just bought a sr5 hatchback with 120k miles and full interior for 5k. does that mean the GTS with a 4ag (that he also recently bought for $250) and an LSD goes for 20-30k? depends on condition I would say. Same thing applies to turbo fc's. If the condition of the car/motor is really good then they can fetch a high price and could definitely be traded for an 86

I daily my AE86 for the past 6 years. Loved every second of it. I no longer risk dailying it now as I realize the car turned into a savings account for me. And all it takes is some irresponsible driver on their cellphone to ruin it for me.

Make them pay for your repair fees bro. Fund a dashcam. Incompetent and irresponsible drivers should stay off their road for good anyway, perhaps making them broke is a good way

I sure wish that I would have hung onto mine. Two tone, red over black. It had the smaller engine and the clutch was shot. Living in Wisconsin it just didn't take too well to driving in the snow. Damn thing went sideways so easy it was scary. It didn't like being on the highway when it was windy. Being so light, the front end was very vague when ever a gust of wind hit it.

I kinda wanna see is an AE86 can beat a 2003 Pontiac Vibe! (Toyota Voltz over seas) They both have the same horsepower and roughly the same weight. would be kinda cool to see old school JDM hatch vs. more modern USDM/JDM hatch lol. Love the video you got a new sub!
