The iPhone mics pick up the road noise, etc., and it’s hard to hear what I’m hearing in person. But if you watch the above video on a good speaker, you’ll hear it pretty clearly.

I own a 2023 Kia Sportage hybrid Sx Prestige that I have driven 8000 miles and never had an issue or heard any weird noise. There is something wrong with your sportage.

I was very close to pulling the trigger on the sister car, which is the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid. Virtually the same car. UNTIL I read a lot of reviews of owners that are unhappy with noises and stuttering acceleration. I do a lot of research before purchasing expensive things. It's really the only way to get an idea of what to expect.

I'm still looking for a rewiew the same or similar to this about this Sportage. I cannot find any! He should show videos of the actual noise, he seems good at videos. Or does he have a thing about any noise? He complained about the noise from his Rav4 that he traded in!

And I do have a thing about weird noises. Brand new cars shouldn't make weird noises.

Every time i think about replacing my car with a Kia Sportage, i run across a critique video like this. Let me go back to looking at a Honda CRV.

I'm working on my last Kia Sportage video as we speak. I no longer have the car. I just couldn't take it. Hopefully I will post it tonight.

Mine makes a ticking sound (sounds like a valve tick ) but only for a second just before shifting into second and third gear, doesnt do it in the winter though, is this what youre experiencing?

No. This is a constant ticking noise that happens upon acceleration

Lol. I was almost ready to buy this suv! If this guy is fir real then I have to reconsider. I saw many reviews but this is the only one knocking it really hard.

I hated that noise so much I got rid of it.

Find an independent mechanic that is certified to do warranty work. If you were in Birmingham I would have an excellent suggestion.

Ok. I saw his video of the noise. The dealership should give him a replacement under his warranty.

I've driven a Kia hybrid for three years, and while I don't have an engine compartment rattle, your Kia ownership experience echoes my own. The dealerships are intentionally obtuse.

Curious as to how many miles you had on it before the noise started or if it was always there. Mine does not make any funky sounds......yet!

It was very early on. I heard it right away. I just didn't want to believe that I was hearing something weird so I started tuning into it more and by the time I had about 200 miles on the vehicle I was back at the dealership.

Hello.. what do you feel about sound system? is it ok? I heard many complaints about subwoofer is not that punchy. What are your thoughts?

Not super punchy and not super loud but it's nice and crisp and clear and I think it's a more full sound than the RAV4. More than enough for most people. And honestly, better than any other stock system I've ever had.
