Should I Buy a Ferrari 812 Superfast?

Could the Ferrari 812 Superfast be the one to scratch the itch to add another V12 car back into the garage? What about the more practical GTC4Lusso V12 that would more directly replace my well loved FF? Or curveball to the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera? It's an era of incredible cars and amazing options! I disagree on the basis that I have driven both for a month each including on track and in the end; somewhat to my surprise, it was the GTC4 Lusso all the way! The “performance” factor is marginal and you live outside my home country Germany, you will never, ever be able to test anyway!

Baloo Bagheera Thats what I’m saying! Between the two, the 812 Superfast is obviously the more stunning car, definitely a bit quicker, and more insane. But the V12 GTC4Lusso offers you seating for four, a practical loot, oh and 680 hp which is still absolutely nuts. The 812 has better resale value but offers one to two dimensional driving. While the Lusso offers you a ton (snow, rain, track, weekend, general).

Personally I don't think so.But if your into buying a hatchback v12 which is pretty cool too it's your move buddy.But given you already own a practical car like the g63 I would say go for the 812 trust me you won't regret it.

I'm a big Aston fan too, but between these contenders I honestly think the V12 Ferrari is the better choice in your line-up. The Aston is a better cruiser, but since you're looking for a proper V12...Ferrari without a single doubt. The GT4 Lusso is surely more practical (despite its length...), but it's nowhere near as sexy as the 812. Do you really need those 2 additional seats? I don't think so. I think this car just needs to be a V12 tribute. Let the "practical car" be another one entirely.

@@chiefdenis Pagani's engine IS the Mercedes engine. It's a turbo and it makes no sound compared to the 812 (obviously i'm exagerating, but not too much...). It's also got an entirely different pricetag. Mercedes itself mounts its v12 on saloon cars... Not an option. Lambo's v12 is a good one. The sound is very well tuned too. But i think that's the least practical car you can imagine. Ok, practicality comes second, but that's not even remotely a Grand Tourer.

@@jorehir im actually very aware of the amg engines in paganis since inception, i just wanted to mention the brands individually. The m120 v12 with equal length headers in the zondas is hands down the best sounding v12 I've ever heard in my entire life, the 812 superfast and la ferrari v12 is a close second. The sound track was tuned differently in the huayra to mimic the soundtrack of an air plane in order to complement the heavily aviation inspired cockpit and control surfaces. While the zonda sounds absolutely mental, the sound of the huayra has a particular charm to it

Tim, the 812 Superfast is a beautiful machine and Nabile (sp) has a beautiful car there, but I really think the GTC4lusso is what will fit best. You have several 2 seaters and nothing with 4 seats until the G63 gets here. The GTC4lusso will give you 4 seats and a V12, not to mention a perfect vehicle for all those funny situations where you just need more room on a trip! I would love either car but think the Lusso will fit the collection better and years from now it very well might be worth a little bit more because it is just the quirky kind of different that someone will be looking for in their collection.
