Should I buy Canon RF lens and is it worth the Upgrade?

Great discussion but could you guys also show some footage? I'm curious how the AF on these lenses works with the Komodo. I recently tested the RF 100-500mm on the Komodo and the AF was pretty shit at the telephoto end of the zoom.

Question is, manual focus is an important thing even with a Komodo. Focus by wire is still a pain in the aXX with new rf lens?

RF lens focus pulls are definitely weird. The lens itself can be programmed more traditionally, with focus stops, but most cameras havent coded it in their bodies yet. Including Red.

Don't like zooms that extend, I like the old ones better, but on all other fronts the RF glass are better that the old EF lenses.

the 70-200 rf is Significantly lighter. In fact, most of the RF lenses are. This can mean a lot when handheld for 1hr or longer.

Canon EF glass looks amazing overall reminds me of Star Wars. Rf glass looks too plain.
