Ummm. As pro-vaccine as I am...your statement that its "not clear" if its someone's basic right to refuse a vaccine is troublesome. I understand how important immunizations are and I am up to date with all of mine, I know about all the science and how anti-vaccination movements have seen a rise in almost extinct diseases, HOWEVER, insinuating heavily that someone doesn't have a right to decide what is put in their body is very telling. YES, there are at risk populations who would benefit from everyone being vaccinated...but I AM part of that population and I STILL believe it is an individual's right to decide what they do with their body.

This is correct. Under the PREP act, courts will dismiss any lawsuits against these companies for adverse side effects. Even the parties who distribute the vaccine or administer the vaccine are not liable for anything bad that happens. Imagine that the person giving you your shot botches your injection. Whether that means your muscle gets messed up or you get an infection, even the company/person who gave you your shot is not liable.

I think people need to go into any decision (wearing a mask, risking getting sick from anything, injecting materials into their body, driving a car) with their eyes open to the risks and benefits, and make up their own mind with some level of reason. Too much of the programming around the vaccine push (and they call it a Push) is to shush people with any concerns or hestitancy at all and just telling them to "Trust us." No one gets my trust implicitly, they earn it through my experiences. That's why I trusted my pediatrician, I've trusted my other PCPs, and have Not trusted some pretty garbage practicioners because of experiential proof that they did or did not actually care about my health over a payday. It doesn't even qualify as a vaccine under the definition of the word, its more of a gene editing tool. Your own immune system is way better at handling it as long as you are reasonably healthy. Vitamin D from the sun and good food is all you need to stay well in general. We will look back in 50 years time and see how ridiculous this vaccine was, like we look back now at when they used to drill holes in peoples head and think it was a good idea.

How patronising is this!!! He talks about the 'slight risk' of adverse reactions - over 1000 people in the UK alone have DIED from the vaccines so far. 4,200 in the USA. Thousands have had serious reactions. Any other vaccines would have been withdrawn if they had a tenth of that kind of death rate, but not this one. To suggest that 'adverse reactions' might include 'my cat was sick' is just plain insulting. I know of three people who have had serious adverse reactions from the vaccines - one person now has permanent vertigo, one person had palpitations and had to have hospital treatment, and one person who had the Pfizer one lost all feeling in her arms and legs within 7 hours of having the injection, and is still paralysed from the neck down, two months later. She's just 20. Don't tell me that people's 'concerns' are not justified.

I got two doses of Moderna. I have asthma so I knew it would most likely effect me more than the average person. The first shot, I experienced arm soreness and I was really tired for two days. The second shot was worse. I basically felt like I was sick, I had some trouble breathing, It was rough. However, the benefits still outweigh the risks for me. I would get the shot again if I had to. To protect my family and other people who are high risk like me.

And some people are afraid to get the vaccine, with so many people arguing as to whether or not the vaccine is safe, it can be very overwhelming. Some doctors may tell their patients not to get the vaccine due to some underlying illness, or if they have had an allergic reaction to certain ingredients in the vaccine, or if they are pregnant. This is why we see the term "Herd Immunity" being thrown around. If the majority of the population get the vaccine, then the people who can't get it or don't want to, will be safe as well.

Here in Italy I heard this 10th January that people can‘t be inside and outside at restaurants and not travel by all regional transportations. Not sure yet if they mean Green pass or the Super Green Pass... Vaccinated Germans were denied access into an Italian restaurant been German standard vaccinated, showing it on medical papers. Oh and by the way, it’s not rushed, the large increase of attention and funding that the vaccine got was incredibly high which meant that problems that other vaccines and medicines had like a lack of funding or low amount of participation for trials weren’t a problem for Covid-19s vaccine. This is why this one took less than a year (despite the fact it was using the same ingredients as previous vaccines of its kind with high levels of modern research) rather that the usual 5-10 years.
