Should i prestige my character in Ascension, and when should i prestige? What is the right time or should i reroll my build? Is my build Worth keeping. This is questions i hear alot, and its currently very unclear when is the right time to prestige in Ascension.
I can't give you a answer, like in many of my other videos. I can pitch you some thoughts and ideas, but then its up to you for the final call

A little thing to add to this. I don't think you mentioned it. If you do one of the hardcore trials that needs you to kill X before lvl X you get locked to that level until you complete the trial. This lets you farm boxes at low levels getting more rolls when you need them. Hogger locks you to lvl 9 Gath'llzogg locks you to lvl 23. You can combine the Hogger challenge with the "Travel Permit - Choose Your Start Zone" to teleport around all the starting area's doing those easy quests. Don't open the boxes if you are capped on exp thou as you don't get scrolls when exp capped in a trail.

This is new to me, if I run the Hardcore Hogger trial and don't kill Hogger, I will cap at 99% of L9 and wont move onto L10? I had always thought you could move on to L10 without killing Hogger but you would just fail the trial. Wanted to check before I tried.

@@rerollgeek just tried it tonight on the Hogger trial, it indeed stopped me at L9 and a 99.9% XP bar to 10. Going to prestiege one of my mains when the quest prestiege is available. :-) ty for the update.

I start every season the same. Pick a leveling build. Smash through several prestige. Buy cards and rolls every time. Save some money each time in the bank until you have enough for spec 2. Roll Into spec 2 with your desired cards and starters. Then keep buying scrolls for it until you're God tier. Same goes for the caches Put your best gear on your spec 2. Save all your good gear from manastorm, dungeons, adventures and pass it to spec 2. Then open those caches. Scales off your gear score / iLevel you'll hit PVE power 460 in no time and then you Can start running heroics, mythics, mythic plus

Great video(s) you really helped me understand the game better. I played in season 7 before but while i like the new rules of this season it got very difficult for me to make good builds since i cant just use ingame guides. Thanks to your "caster starter builds" video i was able to build a 5k dps wrath build. Not great but way better then anything i managed before. Another Video going into more advanced builds would be great, i think it would help many people that are not 10 year WoW vets like me. Keep up the great work, you are easily the most informative ascension youtuber!

Resolute seems to be a way to force the build - only do quests that give caches. Seen streamers recommend it for tank builds and energy builds. Or manastorms resolute.

I know I'm far from unique, but I've had some of the worst rng this season. I have legitimately tried 4 builds with all the "needed" cards slotted and still somehow get nothing decent other than what I've personally carded. Went through 300 talent rerolls on my hunter build and never got any usable hunter talents. Similar story for my other builds. I'm pretty much done with this season already. If they didn't nerf the daily and have a scroll cap on Silas, then it would at least feel a tiny bit less shit to me.

I just maxed out my mark reroll limit and stuck at 5k dps. It's pretty annoying. It also seems that I'm missing a "Required" card or two for anything else I want to play.

as an ascension veteran all i can say is, if u think wildcard is hard to hit last few abilities, imagine how it is on draft where u not only need to hit 3/1000 to get the ability but also hit one of the abilities u wanna get rid off. U have it so good right now

so you're creating alts, leveling them and doing dailies for all the good stuff?

yeah, but this was kinda nerfed. Since you can't just to only the Wanted quest now. So it takes a while, but 1-2 alts are still pretty okay

dailies from the callboard can be a good idea, besides that not really if your just starting out

most builds just do so much DPS because of stacking On Hit legendarys and fel infused weapon being super broken saw it crit 4k on hit which is insane given the proc chance. i feel like ill just play the season to finish some hardcore stuff and farm gold to buy vanity stuff. Rn im grinding hardcore nightmare resolute. :D

also currently trying resolute! ..cant say its a blast tho! -.- Yeah, most power offen comes from curtain builds/skills. Like Fel Infused Weapon

looks like they changed the dailies for world boss. I had like 25 stacked on my main and now I only have one. So looks like they don't stack anymore

Atm, You get 5 per day per character, which stacks up to a total of 25 or 30 so if you miss days you don't lose out. Definitely feels bad after being able to farm them a lot more.
