Okay this was super helpful. I have been struggling to just play around and create a fun build that also does good damage. Been playing around with the Mystic Enchants and talents. I'm doing Wind Rager, but kinda ... I guess making my own version? I don't know. I have only done like a Mythic regular, or maybe a +1 at this point... and I still just do horrible damage. Maybe I'll get it.

Love the vids. Is there a good resource for how ascension pvp differentiates from original wrath pvp? Im mostly curious about abilities that have broken / incorrectly applied pvp modifiers. I just think its silly that an instant cast abilitt can do 3k damage from 30 yards away

I believe most things are custom considering pvp power and main stat scalings are custom as well. But if theres an interest i can make a video on some abilities that seems to have a broken scaling at different levels etc

From what I've seen and experienced of the pvp it is heavily unbalanced and favors one shot builds. Ive had several times when I've been hit with around 6-7 different attacks from one player in the span of a global cd. 100-0 in an instant. I say this not to bash, just sharing my experiences I've had. The server is quite fun, but it has problems when it comes to pvp

@@Odinsson2011 yea thats pretty true. Some dot builds can work (especially in arena when humping pillar), but a lot of times the builds revolve around dumb ability scaling or oneshot gimmicks

It's not a git gud issue, it's a get geared and stack enchants issue lol 😂. Can't do anything when you just get deleted before you have a chance to do anything. Good hunting to you

How is the crit chance of a chaos spell determined? Does it roll seperately the highest one or use the crit chance for the school with the highest modifier?

Chaos is obviously made up of all the schools of magic, so it can be tricky. But crit is rolled based on the highest crit % you have. So if you have bonus 12% fire crit from critical mass it would take that into account. Say you have: 20% crit 32% fire crit Then it would roll for a crit on the 32% fire

@@Sneptics_Official Aight so it could first roll of 30% frost dmg modifier and then 32% fire crit for instance if frost crit lower than fire. In the end 30% buffed fire damage with a 32% crit chance?

In theory yes, thats how it would work. I havent personally tested it, but it could be done with a low crit% baseline and then stacking 12% fire crit then testing crit chance over a long duration on a dummy But its hard to know for sure as i cant check how the game is coded behind the scenes, especially considering ascension has custom rules for stats and such

Just feed back: Either just say "Increased Nature resistance" then you can take the racial, or stick to "Nature Resistance Aura" and actually show Aspect of the Wilds. Calling it "natures" instead of schools (which is also in the chart you show) is confusing with the Nature school.
