Don't sell your GT350R because it is your landmark car. Your most memorable moment. Just beautify the interior, in order to make it more up-to-date and more street friendly because you'd be spending more time on the road... road trip than on the track racing circuit. Ask an Ford engineer for advice on how to make the interior cabin look a bit "brighter and more luxurious". Don't you EVER sell your GT350R. You are not a part of the crowd. You've got to stand out from the crowd in your own memorable distinct way. Just be you and do not be a victim of marketing. You and your own distinct car, the GT350R. You've got to make statement.

I think the GT350R is the car to have! It has the extremely unique Voodoo engine, plus the 6spd manual. Both of those make it one of the best Mustangs ever. If you wanted more power in your 350, just supercharge it!

Although I am considering the Challenger for the retro look, you always make my decision more difficult Joe. I smile as you ride the Shelby GT 500. It’s such a beautiful car compared to the regular GT Mustang. I love the Shelby exhaust and just the sound engagement from downshifting to starting up. Picked up my GT 500 last night in Fort Worth Texas. Shadow Black with White racing stripes. Thought I would never say this, but after only one day with my GT I like it better than my 2016 Z06 C7.R Corvette (yes that's the 1 of 650 rare one) that is how much refinement Shelby has put in this new GT it was worth the 6 year wait. If you can somehow swing it and get one of these babies absolutely do it without hesitation. I may have to sell my Z06 because it just doesn't compare in power, ride, or handling. I wouldn't even want a 2019 ZR-1 over this car. The new Snake is Beast mode.

You really can't go wrong with either of these serpentes the things I like about the GT500 is the hood, the snake emblems :), the supercharger/power, the digital dash, and the hood strut lol.. What I like more about the GT350 is the high revving vudoo, the sound(if the GT500 had some whine it would be a tougher choice but I love the sound of the 350), and the manual gearbox(even though I love the paddles and DCT of the 500 as well). Really I would just put a supercharger in the GT350 and put the 500 hood and strut on there and then you pretty much have the best of all worlds with the only thing missing being the digital dash.. I wish there was a way to get the digi dash in the 350 because I'm a gadget guy and love the latest tech and that digi dash just adds a lot to the driving experience I would think as I haven't experienced it yet..

If the 500 was stick yes but keep the 350 for the standard trans and the 5.2 engine and the sound and the exclusive heritage edition!

Those four Cobras are part of Ford's vehicle security package; they're programmed, with motion sensors, to uncoil and strike at anybody who gets too close and lingers too long near the car. Don't forget to keep the venom reservoir under the hood topped off. That's really good camera work there, long to short camera shots following all of the features you were pointing out and commenting on - very effective technique. I can personally attest to the amazingly long wearing tread on the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. I have them on my 370Z and it's impressive how much tread life I'm getting out of the tires, without tire rotation because of my staggered fitment, for the 1 g of lateral and longitudinal grip the tires can generate. My only zonk for these tires is that the sidewalls are too flexible for my liking, Michelin's concession to driving comfort. I would go with the Cup 2s on the next tire change for that GT 500, as I'm probably going with the Cup 2s - if the darned things will ever wear out. Before going into the video I would have chosen the GT 350 R over the GT 500, but you've made a more than good case for the GT 500. Realistically, for primarily street use the GT 500 might be the better car. With the GT 500's weight and power, it might not be as good for prolonged track driving sessions because of brake fade, tire degradation and engine heat soak with high IATs from high supercharger boost. I could see that beast really eating up gas, tires and brake pads on the track. For a one size fits all car, it might be the best choice if you have the cash to enter the club.

The $18500 carbon fiber package is actually a steal. I recently went to a Ford dealership to check out the gt500 with the said package and the dealerman told me that each wheel costs $8000. So just for a set of carbon wheels will cost you $32,000 and thats before the carbon fiber wing, and interior dash

Don't sell the GT350R! It's super unique because: - It has a manual shifter! - Flat-plane crank naturally aspirated V8 engine! Instead, if your time allows 'take us' (take your camera :D) on a 'ground tour' (I just mean a longer adventure with the car). Perhaps a track day? Just for fun!

Without any specs to support this, and having never driven either, my impression is that the GT350R is a lithe machine that would be fun on the track while the GT500 seems like a large, very powerful boulevard cruiser. Just my thoughts.

Joe, if you are making good money doing these videos, you might consider buying yourself a membership to a track country club. I don't know what is available in your area, but being based in the southeast I bet there is some track available. Something like Atlanta Motorsports Park, NOLA, Autobahn, Monticello, even Road Atlanta has a club that gets exclusive track time.

I love the tremec manual in the GT350R but I can’t lie the GT500’s are extremely amazing, my 2017 GT track pack is manual and I love it, it would be hard to get used to paddle shifters.

The best GT500 worth moving on, would be with an S197 13, or 14 GT500 Or a Super Snake of those same years

Is your GT350 a manual transmission? If so, keep it! I have the new ZL11LE, in a manual. It's a dying breed; the Corvette no longer has it and neither does the GT500.

Nope. As an R owner, Ford may never build a NA 6 speed Mustang, no less with a voodoo like engine. 500 is nice, but no R, noe will it ever be.

I am not a fan of the rotary (phone) dial for the transmission. No stick shift ( yes I do hold on to it) stops the purchase of this Mustang for me. Other than that I think it is a great vehicle.

To be Honest I don't think you need to sell it. Because you probably could track the 350 with the power it has, a lot better then the 500 unless you are doing stright lines then go for the 500.
