@@Zett76 If you've paid any attention to how the Lakers FO has conducted itself since Jeannie outed her idiot brother then you know exactly why coaches haven't wanted to come here. Let me lay it out since you haven't and prefer to blame LeBron for everything since you don't like him. Frank Vogel was treated terribly by the FO. Tyrone Lue felt insulted by the FO insisting he gets less years and his assistants being handpicked for him(this was done because Luke Walton hired his buddies as assistants and this FO overcorrects)so didn't come here. It was immediately speculated upon Vogel's hiring Jason Kidd who was the lead assistant would immediately take over should anything go wrong with Vogel as the fall guy, Kidd ended up going to Dallas instead of sticking around. Vogel's last season the FO gave him a trash roster completely ill suited to his strengths as a coach and as early as December there was talk of him being fired several coaches commented on how terrible this was, like Rick Carlisle who is head of the coaches union, it was reported Quinn Snyder would not come here should there be a vacancy and once fired Carlisle in his capacity as head of the union spoke up how unfair this was. The Lakers FO knew they f*cked up so overcorrected again and gave this long leash and job security to a rookie HC who has turned out to be a terrible choice.

The problem with the LeBron being an in-court coach is the usual "too many cooks" issue. Yes LeBron can adjust in-game to fix issues in real time (tactics) but he is causing confusing to his team mates since they now have to re-adjust their thoughts which were just adjusted by their coach. This is pretty frequent in team vs team battles, even in warfare. Generals can win a battle via tactics, but cannot win a war without strategy.

lebron says things that dont always align with what he actually does on the court. i completely agree that his boost in effort on D was the noticeable difference in that 2nd half, thats what we need from him. he doesnt always play defense consistently, he (seemingly) depends on switches, for a few years now at least. i dont know if thats him not being engaged on D or him following the assigned gameplan. many games im watching him not following his man, not prepared for/reacting to cuts, and then yelling at his teammates once his matchup scores or gets an assist. im a Cavs/Bron fan, ive pulled many hairs off my head watching him do this kinda stuff. its stressful. i guess he's earned that at this stage in his career so i can understand, its year 21 i get it. but when we need it, we need it. i feel like he tricks the people that just see the steal/chasedown highlights, the game tells the true story. the lakers are already not the greatest man-D team, constantly recovering and getting beat by switches/cutters just makes it worst. thats just what i see, i could be wrong/missing details and asking too much of him. but that 2nd half, thats who we need in these playoffs

There's should be a separation of roles and duties between a coach and a player, in order to clearly delineate accountabilities and responsibilities. Let coaches think of plays, let players execute plays. Lebron being a diva, wants to play his part on both, so he fails in either roles. That travel (at the 7:14 mark) by Austin Reeves is just so egregious and blatant, I really cannot stomach it. When you don't have to dribble the ball, of course your speed tops out and how is the defense supposed to have a fair chance to catch up to u??

The supporting cast isn't that bad. This team won less games because Darvin Ham is terrible an average coach and we have 4-5 more wins rn at least.

Actually decent supporting cast they are a couple guys away from being Denver or timberwolves good imo. Thunder are loaded but young. But the lakers are almost there, and any other coach may have them in that same team tier with best duo.
@CrazyxEnigma

@@DEMI-sq5uf Our biggest weakness is AD is our only consistent two way player LeBron can't be all the time because he's 39 and the other guys are specialists even though D'Lo, Reaves and Rui have gotten better defensively I wouldn't call them two way players. Maybe Vincent can be but he needs to get in shape same with Vando he also got injured again right when it looked like he turned a corner offensively.

Our supporting cast isnt bad at all i actually think its the best in the league on paper we have 2 18ppg scorers christan wood and spencer Good on ball defenders Vando vincent prince and cam Its really just they havent been healthy and they aren't being used right (EDIT) I didnt even mention Rui jax and Max who can give great mins

@@mattmmixes Mike Brown was a decent coach, and definitely improved after Cleveland. This issue was bad personnel around Lebron due to management, and bad relation due to obvious issues. Mike Brown and Lebron butted heads because of this. Since leaving the Cavs, his teams have always had better personnel. Was with Lakers with Kobe and Gasol, fired. Was with Warriors as an assistant with the dynasty(played well into game planning vs lebron in finals), and now he is with Sacramento with an amazing team with great players. Mike brown has never been without superstars.

@@EndlessMahogany nobody on the kings in a superstar. They’re a good team but there’s maybe 3 other coaches who get them to where MB has got them. He’s maximized Sabonis and with his playstyle that’s hard to do in the 2020s.

Can't understand why Lakers front office insist on hiring a Novice Inexperienced "Deer in Headlight" Coach to run the Lakers team with once in a generation duo Lebron & AD. Its like building a Supercar & hire a student driver to compete in Le Mans or Daytona.

I like LeB. less and less. Even you do not see LeB. famous defensive help without helping, after 21 years in the league you should be able to position yourself much better. How many DPOY´s has the genius LeB.? Exactly. At 10th in the west, maybe LeB. should listen to Ham. Or finally retire. And A.D. is the best player of the Lakers.
