To submit means to be “sub” to the “mission”…the mission of a relationship is service, unity, commitment, onness. A man has to be wise, secure, clear, and confident to submit in his relationship. Yes, men should submit. Just as women, should submit. Mutual submission, attacking every situation together with humility and wisdom.

So many people fail to realize that what it means to be a leader in any capacity, is to simply be a person of service. So this idea that most men have that to serve your woman or being submissive is “simping” but still expect a woman to follow their “lead” is wild to me. Grateful for this episode!!!! I know you guys said women are suppose to be a fly on the wall within this convo but if I’m speaking honestly and candidly, men TODAY are not going to listen to this. They’re not even going to be open to this convo because men today believe women are NOT their equals. The manosphere, red pill, and especially KS has brought out the worst in most of them. But even with that said, keep doing what y’all doing, i LOVE this podcast and will forever be a supporter.

You guys dive deep, break things down all the way and build it all the way back up to the foundation so there's full understanding. In my early walk with Christ, i thought submit meant slave/servant, which I was totally against. Give in, giving up all of me and I just couldn't understand. Throughout all these years, Ive learned so much and everyone's interpretation may be different. Im in agreement with you guys, the word submission is not a part of my vocabulary. To me its nurturing/caring, supportive, empathetic, responsible, comfortable making adjustments, making sacrifices without resentment or expectations. My belief its done by both man and woman if you're equally yoked loving, sharing, living for common goals

I definitely agree with what you fellas are saying 100%. I believe the negative connotation associated with “submission” is inferiority. A lessor matured or close- minded person might see the act of submitting as the act of “bowing down”; when in reality the act of submission I think is a great example of equality simply because submission doesn’t have to be gender specific (especially if respect is acknowledged amongst two individuals). Awesome episode! 🥃🥃🥃

I don't think y'all are explaining submission imo, it sounds more like being a gentleman, partner or a respectful human being. Submission is allowing your woman to lead (in the same manner and view of how you lead in the relationship) when it's her time to shine. Y'all are a team and each have great attributes. Naturally no one person is always going to be the best person for the issue at hand. Your woman has skillsets, knowledge, strengths that you don't and when the situation presents itself that her qualities are better fit to lead, let her, fall back and go with it.
@Denese2124872 жыл бұрын
Agreed. For example if a man is not the best at managing his income and his woman is great at budgeting and investing etc he can submit in that way to her and say ok I'm gonna sit with you n let you do my budget and show me how to better manage n invest etc and actually listen to n follow her directives on it. Yea?

Halftime: there is a massive difference between leadership and control. Leadership requires you to be a visionary. You know the persons capabilities, talents, and you understand their value. You learn to adjust and use that value to the greater good of the goal or relationship. It’s required for the leader to understand his audience ,his influence, and to TRUST that those who are following are also valuable and important. When you start controlling you start losing out of the gifts and talents that are there to more you forward. Controlling is micromanaging. No one likes to be micromanaged.

Oooo if y’all have another episode to talk about sex and being tired and not really being in the mood etc please have a woman on because that looks very different for women than it does men. A lot of times women feel pressured to have sex when they’re tired and it actually does a lot of damage to us. And honestly, if your woman is tired from doing whatever she been doing all day etc(especially if she’s not getting help from her partner because i see this A LOT) you should not coerce her into sex or press her for sex. Let her rest and revisit when she’s more recharged

I think you guys got the words Submissive and Cooperative confused on this one guys. Submissive - allowing yourself to be controlled by other people or animals. Cooperative - someone who is willing to work with others nicely, or is working together towards achieving a common goal. Relationships should be cooperative not submissive.

False Submission: “the action or fact of accepting or yielding to a superior force or to the will or authority of another person” No cooperation here. A man should not submit to his woman. He should be supportive, but based on logic he should not submit to nobody but God.

Submission-Humility Allowing the greater good for your own selfish needs. When you submit, you recognize, this is not the end all be all. There’s a bigger picture. A greater goal. So when a woman submit to her husband is allowing her husband to lead to the greater purpose.

women are no longer martyrs and doormats. that way of thinking is why women leave men most of the time nowadays. 🤷🏻♀️
@Will0082 жыл бұрын
No! Men are not to be submissive, men take the lead, and the woman is The Helpmate. And that doesn’t mean by any means that the woman is a second class citizen or beneath the man nor is the man supposed to treat her as such, it simply means that the man & woman have 2 distinctive roles they must play in order to bring polarity into the relationship. If the man is a masculine being, and the woman is being a masculine being with and to him, then where is the polarity in that relationship??? It will never work. The man is the stronger vessel and the woman is the weaker one. So, quite naturally the man is the head(defender, father, provider, care giver, leader) and the woman must submit and be his helpmate(mother, caretaker, homemaker, nurturer, agreeable, teacher). God>Man>Women>Children = “The Divine Order of The Most High”.
@sleepyeuphoria-relaxingsou83242 жыл бұрын
Preach! these nuance ideas got it all wrong. Men should absolutely not be sumissive to his woman, that is not to say that he controls or disrespects her, it is just proper order in order to have best family dynamic. Modern women have negatively painted the word and have strain away from submission. I like the nice and neat podcast but would have to disagree on this one, respectfully.

if you insist on being the “leader” and your partner being “weaker” sooner or later your partner will resent and leave you. this is why women leave men most of the time. some men just want to mold women into someone they want and not show what she’s good at.
