Today I’m getting summer highlights, my homie Robert Maldonado is doing them, and I wanted to go over a few dos and donts while showing you the whole process. First of all. Let’s get this question out of the way. Should men get highlights. Is it ok for a guy to get highlights? My answer to the question is hell yes. Do whatever you want. Change the color, change the length and style, be unapologetic about it.

This year my favorite was fade back and sides with about 2.5 inches on top and lowlights, which I would definitely advice if on the edge about getting highlights and want to have a test run first. The amount of compliments I got was unbelievable.

I just coloured my hair for the first time this Summer! I did blonde platinum highlights and it was awesome, now they are light brown, I paid for a toner 3 weeks later. It's fun having different colours lol, but try not to do it if you have damaged hair!

Hey Alex, I am an older “mature” gentleman with a lot of greys that turn white in summer...I go to a men’s salon for “grey camouflage” hair treatment, I felt I looked older than I feel and think so I went a bit darker (not platinum blonde tho...lol). Too old for the highlights but wanted to share for the 40 something crowd that feel younger. Thanks for your truth.
