Yeah, My issue is that all his companies are branded with his name so as soon as his name loses relevance (which is inevitable), his companies will crash as well, he needs to separate his brands from his name. It's not "Mark Zuckerbergs Facebook" - It's just Facebook. Same for Tesla, same for Amazon, same for pretty much every successful company.

A Mr.Beast IPO would be a huge experiment in the future if business. Celebrity led businesses are becoming increasingly common in the market, and whatever happens, if it happens, will imply huge changes for the attention economy.

I agree, it’s certainly an interesting experiment, but an IPO may not be the best route for creative businesses due to regulation and pleasing public investors. Very interesting to see how it will turn out!

If he IPOs, he will have to make sure he doesn't sell too much of the overall company percentage ownership otherwise he will be forced to make more money NOW (Which will mean the big stunt videos, uploaded every few weeks). This will mean ignoring the more personal giveaway videos such as the recent blind curing video and uploading SO regularly that people will get bored of his over-stale content. If he IPOs, he will have to be VERY careful with how much he sells.

You are 100% right. It’s a major issue to give up ownership because they won’t share Jimmy’s creative direction and will push him to be more profitable instead of charitable.

Forgot to say, the Mr.Beast IPO is likely going to be WAYYYY overvalued, ESPECIALLY if he announces it on a livestream in front of his fans because they will all buy in even if they don't understand how to value stocks, boosting it EVEN FURTHER than normally hyped IPOs. In other words, wait for Beast to announce the IPO, wait about a week and then short the stock like mad - It's what the big investors will be doing.

When you buy an IPO there is usually a lockup period where early investors can’t sell the shares for, typically 90-180 days. An investment bank determines what price the shares will trade at on IPO. Mr. Beast could bring a lot of demand for the shares, which would cause the investment bank to price the shares higher. If they IPO’d there is zero doubt it would be crazy over valued. If you remove the Mr. Beast current popularity it’s nothing special.

Wow, that stock is going to crash harder than the Titanic once they are unlocked and the big investment firms can short them. @@RaisedMedia Yeah pretty much, the chat function becomes completely useless when it's hundreds of messages a minute. At that point it's just a slot machine jackpot effect that's used to entice viewers

Awesome video! I love Mr. Beast and it's crazy to see how much he has grown. His channel definitely has had a more corporate feel to it lately. You'd think you would want to invest in his company if you could, but relying solely on his popularity isn't a great long-term idea. Hopefully he can figure that out!!
