It's impressive that they managed to conduct 3 interviews in the duration of that one Carpenters song. I wouldn't complain if music from 76 was playing on the bus but I don't really want to have to listen to Cardi B while I'm travelling.

The problem isn't music. We all of us like music but when we are forced to listen to another's usually terrible choices then it's outright terrorism

You can hear the carpenters playing in the background and it must be said what an absolutely amazing voice that Karen Carpenter had truly fabulous and who tragically died way too young

I seem to remember soft easy listening music played on board Routemasters in London, but forget why. Was it the Shoplinker, or Silver Jubilee Routemasters? Personally, as much as I love music, would prefer to hear the engine. On old buses such as AEC's or Leylands, the engines was music to my ears.

Around 1979 in Spokane, Washington USA the city buses had music. The bus driver could play whatever he music he chose and it was on 8 track tape. (It might have been only on the evening and night routs.) Depending on the driver depended on if a person liked to ride the bus because of the music. I had a 50 minute ride home in the evenings and the driver I had often had played really old twangy country music that I couldn’t stand (or many other people). It has nothing with me because 17 years old either. 😂 I’m glad the transit company stopped it 2 or 3 months after it started.

Absolutely NOT. That's not "music". It's a radio programme with a lot of background chatter, which at best could be irritating and at worst could cause migraine. I would definitely complain.

Yeah it would get annoying very quickly.

I wish that music was played on the bus so I didn't have to listen to 74 different songs from knobjockys and there headphones.

I shouldn't drive home after work with my back on the edge of spasms while listening to Flowers by The Psychedelic Furs... But I do my best to live.🤷♂️ I let people into traffic and all, but it's a pain. Going on. When my, when to move meter is off. and that song by the Butler brothers... At that moment... yeah. It's the feeling. So on the bus I could be worse of a pester pot, maybe. 🤔😄 I like Richard Butler, for Nietzsche type reasons. Of course I can never give up my beliefs if Christ.
