Thanks for watching our video: Should Muslims leave the West?
Since moving to Turkey, I've been kind of surprised by how many people have expressed to me their interest and also either moving to Turkey or some other Muslim-majority country. And I guess I shouldn't be surprised since I myself did this, but this video will try to answer the question.
Do I think Muslims should move from the West to a Muslim majority? The thing about the West today, and I should say specifically the United States and more advanced western countries like the UK and Germany, they are basically a free marketplace of ideas and that means that eventually the best ideas went out if there are people who are advocating for them.
So this means that as a Muslim living in the West, you have the valuable opportunity to familiarize non-Muslims with Islam,
And you don't really have to do that explicitly, just by virtue of non-Muslims interacting with you and you being an honorable and trustworthy person, you're giving a good impression of Islam and familiarizing people with Muslims.
And the fact of the matter is you don't really have the same opportunity in a Muslim majority country.
So if you were to come to me with a button and you said, Hey, Rick, here's a button. If you push this button, every Muslim in the west is transported to a Muslim majority country. Would I push this button? The answer is no. I would not push this button because ultimately I don't think that would be a net positive for humanity.
The interactions that people have with one another, Muslims and non-Muslims increases the understanding between people, makes people less fearful of one another. Makes others, less of others basically, and reduces the amount of conflict or the probability of conflict between them. A lost parent Alice says, translated into English, of course.
Oh, mankind. Indeed, we have created you from male and female and we made you peoples and tribes so that you may get to know one another.
Indeed the most noble of you in the sight of Allah are the most righteous of you. This getting to know one another can happen. More readily when there is co-mingling between people, and that means not having nations that have zero diversity, but I have to say this familiarization can only happen if Muslims actually say what they actually. , like I was watching the news and I see a candidate in the UK running for office and they basically ask him about gay marriage. He's a Muslim candidate, and he's like, you know, I believe in equal marriage and this person's wife, I believe his daughter, they're wearing hijab.
So I know that's not true. So why not just come out and say, listen, I understand that many people disagree with. , I'm not for gay marriage. I don't really support that lifestyle. I'm not going to try to change it. I'm not gonna force my beliefs on anyone, but this is what I believe. Why not just come out and say that people would have a ton more respect for you if you just were upfront about exactly what you believed in?
So this familiarization with Islam can only happen if Muslims actually say what Islam is about
the prophet peace be upon him, says, when you see something wrong, change it with your hand. But if you can't change it with your mouth, and if you can't change it in your heart or actually say that it's wrong in your heart, and that's the lowest form of amen, that's the lowest form of faith.
But ultimately, the answer to the question, should I move? Hinges on your answer to question, what is my purpose? And whatever your purpose is, should determine where you end up going
And understand that if your purpose is important enough. Wherever you go, wherever you end up, it's not going to be easy, but it will be worth it insha Allah.

Muslims need to move to Muslim majority countries and make these places better. If there was mass migration from the west to any Muslim country, the immigrants would be able to mould society in a way that balances the best of the west with Islamic life.

Most Muslim countries have a ton of issues that put many of us off as well. Many don’t have a good standard of education, poor justice and lack opportunities, many are also ruled by dictators or an elite that hate Islam. The west is morally bankrupt but it many of the things the Muslim countries lack. However, we are now entering a very bad period in the west - where the morals and ethics are poles apart from Islamic values. It is now incumbent on us to seriously consider moving, even at some economic or monetary loss. The akhirah is more vital to us than this dunya.

@@rozenabashir6705 on the one hand do we go back our countries of origin (for those who aren’t native) and build new communities that keep to better standards? But not isolated ones. Or do we find countries that come the closest to our ideals, Turkey is close but volatile in many ways politically/economically. Asia is an option, particularly Malaysia. Middle East is possibility, mainly gulf states, but expect not to become a citizen as they don’t allow that. So it’s temporary really. I wouldn’t write off Pakistan/Bangladesh as they will develop but it’s too much to a culture shock for those brought up in the west. Also who is prepared to learn new languages? It’s key to integrating.

I currently live in the U.S. and I don’t really have a plan as of now. I’m kind of just cruising through life at the moment with no outlook on the future. I think I’m just going to stay put until I figure something out, whenever that happens.

YES they should, we are not compatible. My Muslim neighbour was shouting at my sister for listening to the radio whilst she was planting flowers in the garden! I didn't know Muslims couldn't listen to music or even watch films! Every week I hear another normal thing muslims are forbidden from doing or they go to hell. He went nuts with another neighbour walking his dog past him and the dog sniffed his hand and got saliva on his finger. He went crazy in the street. Everyone I know is getting rather annoyed at Islam in the West. Other religions get along fine but Islam has so many restrictions and demands they really just need to be on their own.
