42nd Chapter of the Qur'aan will guide you. Try not to claim things about Islam without or lack of knowledge of the subject. Democracy's early roots comes from islam. More specifically democracy which in not so common today even though it should be. Syrias history during the time of the rightly guided caliphs are evidence to this.

Sabir Ali is a mushrik who is calling muslims to the hell fire by ecouraging them to associate partners with Allah in His devine right of ruling and judgement. Allah swt says 'wa la yushriku fee hukmi'i ahad' and He (Allah) does not accept shirk in His judgement'. This ayat (along with many others) is general and explicit in meaning and will stand as a command until the day of judement no matter what people like this humiliated man might claim.
