@Rahul If one really follows Sadhguru, you dont throw away the traditional ways of the gurus. The only difference is he explains how these rituals and process came into existence and how they were eradicated as well. Not everyone were enlightened enough to understand what he does, so they simply kept the rituals going and the process alive. So in any sense, they both are the same thing. They are no different.

@Rahul Varna is not completely based on birth. Like you said, past karma may cause you to take birth in a particular Varna. That doesn't mean you are stuck there. Valmiki was born and brought up as a hunter. He became a brahmin and a sage because of his choices, his karma. Vishwamithra was a ksathriya. He later became a sage. Past karma may decide Varna in which the person takes birth. But they can choose differently afterwards.

The reservation for SCs and STs is a reparation snd an affirmative action to correct the discrimination and persecution that community has undergone for years and years altogether. Ultimately its upto the society as to how the disparity can be reduced, but as long as it exists, reservations need to be there. @Rahul You do not need to be from a brahmin family to put on the sacred thread. There are many, many sages throughout history that have been initiated into brahmin-hood because of their qualities not because of their birth. In fact, this is how it was initially. Anyone can become brahmin through their character. Even today, there are many ashrams or places where this is happening but it is not publicized. The word brahmin means someone who has understood "Brahman" - the supreme source. This is the only qualification that is required to wear the sacred thread. With that being said, it is better we discard these labels. The essence of the vedas is to dissolve our identities and return to the supreme source.

The only thing that is appearing to stop you from enlightenment/self-realization/eternal life/knowing yourself to be unconditional love is identification with thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences instead of being aware of being aware and knowing yourself to be that unconditional love pure consciousness in which all thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences appear but are not inherently one with you; they are an expression of unconditional love; you are that infinite that is expressing itself as suffering/pleasure but inherently you are neither; you are that nothing/unconditional love/pure consciousness in which they are appear and by which they are perceived; Suffering/pleasure comes and goes; there is an awareness that is aware of them coming and going; that you are; remember and know what you are; never identify with anything that is appearing within you; since it appears within you; it can't be you; you are that in which it appears. When you abide as that in which it appears instead of identifying; nothing has a grip on you; if anything comes; it quickly goes; like clouds passing; only if you identify as a cloud then it will appear as if the cloud is here for longer than it is originally supposed to; if you simply rest as the awareness and do not identify; it will quickly dissolve; be unconditional love by being aware of being aware; this is the highest; this is what you are seeking in absolutely everything else; you are seeking yourself; you are seeking unconditional love; but you are looking outside of yourself; instead of being aware that you already are unconditional love. I totally agree. See the thing is people have not given importance to temples like they should. They think of temples as their sorrow place and wish granting place. They go to temples when they are in hard times, they go to temples to want something from God, this stops people from truly connecting to God. Majority of the Hindus take God for granted. They view God as their wish master, because from a very young age we have been taught thay we can ask God whatever we want, we were never taught to love God. We do some pooja at home not following the proper methods and we have no one to teach us selflessly. This on the whole has a huge impact. People only dedicate to God during certain seasons. We should create awarness about this and a request to you sir. If someone from a different caste approaches you regarding some information please don't with hold anything. Clear their confusion fully. That will go a long way yo get people to understand what Sanathana Dharma actually is.
