Ohio States O line is a problem 3 new players to the team and poor blocking. If I was the coach, Traynum would get 20 carries and get the line working together.b The big problem is Day. Another loss to xichigan means he has to go!

No teams played super great not even FSU, there QB stunk it up quite a few drives, defense held LSU who’s QB played awful as well. Either way College Football is back and it’s still the best time of the year.

@@tombailey9104 I’d say they were improved in a few key areas. They didn’t practice and prepare for a triple option offense, which is what Indiana put out there. To stop the triple option you have to be disciplined in your run fits. And they did it on the fly. That wouldn’t happen last year as they weren’t a disciplined defense.

Problem is play calling; where were the throws to RB in flat, RB screens, short slants, crossing patterns, wheel route to slot man, etc…slot receiver across formation , TE throws down seam, TE crossing with slot man from opposite side of field. ???

OSU's offense looked sluggish because of the suspect play calling. For most teams it's hard to run the ball when you have 7 or 8+ defenders in the box. Your O-line can only do so much when outnumbered. I'm not worried about the O-line. When Day started to call pass plays the running game opened up a little. I know one thing Day should drop saying there's a QB battle especially since McCord is starting again. Once Day figures out his team can't run the ball like Michigan or Wisconsin and setup the run with the passing game they'll look better offensively.

For the most part I agree. If they have one mediocre half offensively I wouldn’t worry too much, as long as the defense continues to look good. They also have Western Kentucky which will be a decent test too. As long as they show out against ND then I’ll be satisfied.

Browns have two of OSU's starting lineman from last year and a separate lineman went in the 1st round. New line will need a little time to gell. This could be a rebuilding year for the O-Line.

@@CrackdealerfrThere's always a reason a pass play is successful. Broken coverage or not the QB still has to be able to make the throw. You said it any D1 QB SHOULD be able to make that throw but MANY CAN'T, so give credit where it's due! Let's see how THEY ALL play against some competition!

Not a single logical buckeye fan predicted anything less than what we saw Saturday. We know McCord isn't special. We know our number 2 is nothing special. We know our O-line is horrendous. The only buckeye fans that are screaming the sky is falling are the people who only watch the games. Not the ones who are actually in tune with the team thru the duration of the off season. We know we'll be lucky to compete for the B1G east. And if you think otherwise, your just flat out delusional.
