As a UCLA fan, it occurred to me today...We lost a lot of games to teams who are in the top 25, at the start of our season, when we were still learning a new scheme. Oregon, Penn State, LSU, Indiana...all top 25 teams. We ALMOST had Minnesota, some questionable play calls at the end of that game. We're NOT THAT BAD! This team is coming together! We lack depth on defense, but if our offense can stay on the field so the D can rest?!? Look out! This team is pretty good! Can we get to 6 wins? ... Uhh....maybe! Washington on the road, Iowa at home, U$C at home, and Fresno state, who is no slouch, at home...maybe we can! LET'S GO BRUINS!!!

This was the worst officiated game I’ve ever witnessed. Absolutely abysmal. All of Nebraska’s points came off weak unsportsmanlike like conduct penalties. Big Ten officials have been so biased against UCLA and USC this season it’s laughable.

Yeah that call when UCLA was up 10-0 changed the whole game. It took the momentum away from the Bruins who were going to get the ball in Nebraska territory and were absolutely manhandling Nebraska up to that point on Defense.

Football is NOT "the greatest game on earth". That'd be basketball ... of course. F-ball is way too brutal to be considered a great game. Too many injuries, too many concussions, broke bones, and the orthopedic surgeons are ready when they happen. Basically ... thinking about it, there's a crime on every play, if it weren't for the context of the game. I played D-1. Now, I 'watch'; the game and just hope the players don't have traumatic injuries ... but they do, so I usually just turn it off. Sorry about venting. Many players feel this way and would rather play hoops.
