MPJ without Jokic is a role player. Zach Lavine with Jokic could be an unstoppable offensive force. It's a no brainer.
@JKMediaCorp7 күн бұрын
Lavine and MPJ are a wash defensively. Neither are good. Lavine would be inserted at SG and PWat would most likely be moved to starting SF with CB going to the bench. In this scenario, you don't lose any height... and you gain length at both SG and SF. So I don't think you really lose anything, but that contract is NASTY, and for that reason there has been no trade market for Zach for almost 2 years... so the Nuggets wouldn't need to give up a pick at all.
@nikolakrstic80797 күн бұрын
Watson coming to the starting lineup in that scenario would be ideal but idk if Malone would do it. He is waaay to rigid to do something like this to CB
@jwtplayer6 күн бұрын
Porter is a much better defensive player than Lavine
@Silentpixel20246 күн бұрын

@rainofkhandaq66786 күн бұрын
Lavine would be better creating off the bench with Russ, keeping CB the best cutter on the team, with Jokic

MPJ’s the healthiest he’s ever been, Lavine is older and unhealthy

Short answer yes because of Joker minutes, but Chicago seems to have an odd front office? I'm thinking about the recent Caruso trade to OKC.
@HardwoodKnocksNBA7 күн бұрын
@@cleokey yeaaaah we grappled with that too. like is mpj and nnaji really the best they can do? feels a touch light, but then again, if they could get materially more, wouldn’t they have moved him already? 😅

Caruso is always hurt or playing hurt and not a ton of minutes and he might be the worst offensive player in the league this year who isn’t a rookie… Bulls did fine with that trade there was never a multiple good 1st rd pick offer I guarantee that and I’d rather have Giddey than last years 18th pick and a couple 2nds or whatever offer we were getting. That is the most unfairly criticized deal I’ve seen in a while lol
@HardwoodKnocksNBA7 күн бұрын

@@HardwoodKnocksNBA 18th pick or Giddey I’m fine with Giddey… no one was offering a top 10 pick or multiple good 1sts for Caruso those reports are bs and I was saying it long before the trade his value isn’t as high as peoples speculations… not everything that is leaked or reported is accurate far from it... U know that u just like to crap on the Bulls like everyone does 😢 All good I understand most of the time it’s warranted but in this case not really imo

I think LaVine opens things up for Murray. The pressure on the rim would be non-stop. Westbrook can spot fill defense. Watson can rebound and be length. Zeke and Mpj for Craig and LaVine. Denver can match with another non-rotation guy.
@HardwoodKnocksNBA7 күн бұрын
@@effingtheineffable6827 i just wonder if there would be enough defense and rebounding in the core lineup. Mpj isn’t the most consistent there but his size alone goes a long way
@effingtheineffable68277 күн бұрын
@ if LaVine plays SG and Peyton Watson plays the 3, they don't lose any length or defense.
@JFImagery6 күн бұрын
At first I hated this idea, but after thinking through it, Levine would open up the rotations a lot more. Levine can handle on 2nd team minutes, as well as it gets PWAT starting as the 3, which I think is his true position. Point of attack defense will be a problem, but they have options…put Braun in if they’re getting cooked, Levine at the 3 if the offense isn’t clicking, etc. MPJ is a very good, but very difficult to place player in a lineup. You even could put Levine and Russ together and still have a crazy good starting 5.

Nuggets don’t need to move MPJ. They need help on the bench not the core. MPJ has stepped up and started creating this year. So idk where thats coming from. He’s shooting less 3s because he’s taking it in. Yall watch nuggets games??

Lavine is almost 30, a liability on D, very injury prone along with the higher price tag also the cost of chemistry the nuggets team has had for 3+ years. Not worth it they need to build the young guys & just call this year a wash if it happens to end bad, wait till next year to trade murray while also getting Daron holmes back in the line up.
@Krazyabe7 күн бұрын
If the nuggs can get him for Junior and Zeke tbey gotta go do that. Love Junior but Zeke gotta go and Lavine is just better. And on a bad team so probably underperforming. Joker will get the best out of him and thats honestly kinda scary. Especially with Murray spotting up for them!

Our players do not believe in this team anymore and cos of that there is no effort! I never seen team this letargic since Jokic started! I think that problems are big in the organization and Calvin vision utterly failed! Not only that it failed but it destroyed team chemistry and thrust to the point that team is unrecognizable for old fans! Jurnalist try to sweep this under the rug but it is impossible to hide it any more! As a die hard fan this is so hard to watch while at the same time no one on Press Conference`s ask a question who`s gonna take a responsibility for this desaster!
