I’m not sure defense at the guard spot gets much worse than DLo lol. Plus Vuc at the 5 puts AD back at the 4 being able to help on the weak side and break up plays which should help their defense. Coby and Vucevic should both help improve the lakers offense which ultimately would help there defense. They’d get better offensive possessions which would limit transition points for the other team and the lakers are bottom of the league in transition defense. Plus Vando and CWood should be coming back soon. Would it make them title favorites ? No. But it’s a step in the right direction. I’d put them in a tier where they’d be able to upset a team or two in the playoffs. Their defense needs work of course but they also need to take an offensive load off Bron. At this point he should probably be your 3rd leading scorer if you’re really tryna compete tbh and theirs not too many moves they can make to do that
