This flag was designed for Kamehameha long before the overthrow, long before the abolishment of the Kapu system. Don’t change it! The reason why it’s called the Hawaiian flag is because Kamehameha, who unified the islands, was a Hawai’i island chief. Which made us Hawaiians.

the other flag was the yellow, black and red "Kanaka Maoli" one = for the native Hawai'ian people; not just the ones currently living on Homestead lands. some people think that da rail was a waste of time and money (it begins in Kapolei; the original length of rail, was supposed to end at UH Manoa, instead it will end at Ala Moana Shopping Center instead); bring back the Super Ferry (for people on the West side; less traffic and congestion on the two lane road (going into town).. end homelessness; do something that's actually productive; get rid of the 1920's Jones Act (Merchant Marine Act of 1920), which affects us, Guam, Alaska and Puerto Rico). it's just my opinion..
