I get your point but for a new player, to make them have a good experience and good idea of sniping, should get a more powerful and a bit slower sniper to fit their movement. The rem 700 wouldnt do as much damage so it would be hard for beginners and its fast so it fits better players more.

I feel like the intervention is designed to be a bit overpowered because sniping is “harder” than just point and hold left click automatic fire and it gives the newer players a bit more of an edge

I get where you’re coming from with this video @ruby. The Intervention feels unique in it’s own right. It isn’t exactly a jack of all trades like the Model 700, however it doesn’t have the same power or speed as other snipers.

At this point use whatever suppressor you want on the Intervention. It torso kills up to exactly 150 studs and no supressor change max. damage range. I use PBS-4 Because it has 30 stud detection range. Sometimes Oil Filter because it has 5 stud detection range but thats kinda extreme and has a disturbing model. Note that I’m a .375 Cheytac user so I still have 3.4k MV with an Oil Filter.

The intervention is very much a rank 0 weapon. It embodies every thing that a rank 0 weapon should be. It's hard hitting, has a high skill ceiling, and requires effort to use effectively, encouraging growth.

The intervention doesn't feel or look like a rank 0 sniper. Like in other games the intervention is like a late stage unlock or a very expensive weapon to buy. I always wondered why it was the rank 0 sniper. The Remington 700 is a better rank 0 sniper in my opinion because it doesn't give new players an easy 1 tap body and teaches them to aim for the head. Sometimes I really think the recon class should be given the Mk11 as the rank 0 rifle and you have to unlock the actual sniper rifles.

I feel like the only other sniper that would fit at rank 0 is the AWM. It's an average jack-of-all-trades sniper, decent damage and fair muzzle velocity while not being as busted as the intervention.

Rubie, AK12 still has hyperburst (pretty sure). And most of the variants still have hyperburst. (DBV12 doesn’t, but 410 works well enough)

I think the AWM would be a better pick. It's just one of the snipers of all time. It's very middle of the road and it's fairly close to the intervention without the nutty torso kill range (I think it's around 90 or so)

What why would you say that. People even high ranks already barely use the thing, you see it in rank 0s hands but its quite hard to use if u wanna be agro with it if u camp or use is other ways its really fun and a cool sniper. Nerfing the torso kill range would be a bad move as well. They should leave or replace it with rem700. If they replace it to rank 100 what about thoses people who have it maxed with attachments. then they just need to prebuy it? if its only switched to the r700s rank then its not gonna be a big deal cos in about 30 min u could get it back if u were rank 0. imo anyway. sry for long reply :(
