We own a 2019 Sequoia TRD Sport. It's been super reliable and fun to drive. 🎉

its perfect Man i have a 2011 Limited and its been flawless. I just replaced the alternator. at 220k just keeps purring along. I went 275/60/20 and its rides perfect. I tow all the time and still get 15 mpg towing 7k pounds.

If you want to get that one then do it otherwise I like seeing the mountain views in Utah seems like a great place haven't been there since 2015.

I can guarantee you that whoever owned that vehicle bought it new and proceeded to basically do the minimum maintenance. Nothing was refreshed. No fluids were changed except for your basic oil. The oil filter on these is a pain in the ass so if you are going to keep it, change it over to a screw on oil filter. Baxter engineering makes it. A 5.7. V8 is good for at least 1,000,000 miles. What’s wonderful about these old sequoia’s especially if you get a platinum is that they offer a lot of features that today’s cars don’t and they are way cheaperand more durable. Win-win can’t go wrong.

YES!!!!!! I prefer it to my 24’ excursion (altitude) TBH & I have ZERO squeaks (like a landcruiser) and no play in the wheel. Those tires might be making it louder also!?! Just get 18’s instead of 20’s & Bilstein 5100’s I have 135k on mine (limited) & drive off-road DAILY for work. Never broken down, comfortable AF & V8 power with a diff lock. 3rd row fold FLAT as it should be!!!!

I think a nice lower miles 21' or 22' Sequoia TRD Pro or Platinum trim would be ideal.

If I was in the market for a kid hauler. I'd look for a 70s Suburban! That's a tank compared to these newer vehicles.

I saw an article once by I believe Forbes if you can imagine.. anyway it said something along the lines of 11% of all Sequoia that traded hands the previous year had over 300,000 miles.. CAN'T kill it..

Not a bad option… Not very fuel efficient.

That V-8 engine will still be running strong when you pass it down to your kids.

@BenHardyCars no because this will give you problems speaking from experience I bought a 2005 camry v6 as my first car with 143k miles and it gave me problems and problems had to spend 1300 dollars to fix oil leak.
