Better Than A Raptor? (2025 Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO)

I spent a day driving the new TRD-Pro. It is so nice, comfortable and quiet, you never want to get out of it. The seats should be an option because it leaves no room for anyone in the rear. No one would ever care about the V-6 or complain that it is a 4 cylinder once you drive this, it is so quick and has amazing low-end power. If the price was in the low 50’s, I would get one if I could also have different front seats.

I really don't think Toyota put a lot of thought into those seats. Makes the back seats completely useless. Inexcusable for 70k

Those seats need to be an option & not standard. The price also needs to come down by $5k

I tried out both pro and trail hunter back to back i brought the trail hunter i didn't care for the seats and hood scoop on the pro

I couldn’t agree more! You can fit human beings in the back of the Ranger Raptor too, unlike the TRDPro with those silly seats

As long as the Tacoma doesn’t have a 4 auto transfer case, the Ranger Raptor is always better than Tacoma

We wouldn’t even be having this conversation if a Toyota is better than any midsize truck last year 2023 they were the best up until now they let me down with 4 cylinder turbo. How does it cost for a pro now ? Haven’t looked only seen Trd off road prem was the one I wanted and nope for the price. Hell no.

How are they going to get any better? When nobody's buying them! IMHO, it's going to take Toyota a while to improve on the new Tacoma. For the first time, this popular brand is hard to sell. These dealerships might have 2024 Tacomas for a couple years. Like other automakers! The difference is Toyota isn't knocking enough money off like the other manufacturers. Mainly because Toyota doesn't have two or three years of new vehicles on their lot collecting dust. Not yet, but that days coming real soon......

Love the window rattle when shutting the door these new Toyotas are trash. That’s why I got ride of my Tundra, so cheap. After a week of driving it I hated it. @4:27
