I'm a disabled vet (TBI Traumatic Brain Injury) having had 4 severe concussions in my twenties, knocked out cold, spinning for a week, nausea, throwing up. In my thirties suffered with migraines and dizziness, light sensitivity. My forties, the same with depression, rage and battled suicidal thoughts, constant head and neck pain. Fifties I suffered three strokes, had to learn how to walk and talk again. I'm 69 now and have migraines, vertigo, neck pain, cannot lay on the back of my head. Cannot be in airports, shopping malls, grocery stores, public places, they over stimulate me and cause me to have concussed symptoms from loud noise, bright lights, any kind of motion over stimulates me. I did not have a football helmet when I took blows to my head. I have MRI done every year to monitor a lesion (due to the head traumas) in my left cerebellum where balance and speech are controlled. Just people touching my head cause symptoms. Relationships are difficult. Tua retire Now, please. Life has been hell.

Whenever people talk about quarterbacks being superior they always fail to talk about the players that are on the other end of the plays that make those quarterbacks truly what they are.

You can't wrap yourself in bubble wrap. However...you can wear a guardian cap. Why is a player with 2 concussions even given the choice not to wear it?

Concussions cost my hockey scholarship. I was 20 and had to make hard choices, best thing I ever did, thank you mom and dad, my wife (then girlfriend) and my friends. Still have a decent life, but I have a somewhat normal brain and a beautiful family. My sons now play baseball because it's way easier and way less risk of injury.

From what i understand, doctors warned him after the second one that future concussions could seriously impact his quality of life, and included an increased risk of death. It would be exceedingly irresponsible for them to march him back out onto the field. If he plays again, it feels like we'll just be waiting to watch him die on the field.

mats sundin only played in like 1 game that series and he pretty much was the offence.

Now that concussions are out in the open and the NFL have been sued for concealing the risk for decades..families suffered with their retired guys in varying states of decline.. We may have players who assume the risk want to keep playing and don’t want to retire to a life with its own lonely path of longterm injuries and mental deficits. Tua may prefer to ride his career to his own end. Type A personalities.

The bills did spank my Phins mainly because of terrible play by Tua but what’s crazy the Phins had better stats apart from the two most important ones turnovers and points, they had total yards, first downs way more top 🤔🤷♂️how

If it happens again it may well be the last time he does anything. The coach is making the wrong decision (ie continuing to play) right. Understand this, coach is the one who made the decision to give Tua one of the largest money contracts in the NFL and if Tua can't play the coach will be the one who is to blame and he will be gone. Injured players do not get kissed on the head by the coach - the coach knows his future is totally dependent on Tua playing. Don't compare Damar Hamlin with Tua - Hamlin suffered a physical injury that caused a shock to his heart which stopped and it took major efforts by many people to save his life. Tua and his problem is not a physical injury it is an injury to the brain - imagine a bowl of eggs in a bowl and then scramble those eggs up - that is what happens to the brain when it is injured - that is what is facing Tua if he gets another head injury.

Hayes is a clown for saying that comment about dez. We had the same thing with lindros. We said he should retire and he eventually did. Sports is not serious. Life is. Tua had like 4 documented in the past few years

Like Hayes wants a fkn autographed Pic from odonkey! Guy is so clueless he doesn't even know the game he brags about scoring in. What a tool

No need for a 46 minute video on this topic, and who's going to watch this when the answer is clearly yes.

@@muzikgod You're so stupid. Each hour of the show has a title, that's literally all it is. It's always a quote or a talking point from some point in each episode. Now get lost, loser.
