This song is my favorite Toby Keith song. It's a great example of three chords and the truth. It's funny how some of the least complicated songs are so good. Your chord diagram of Cadd9 shows the third string not being strummed. Should that string be strummed open? Thanks for showing us how to play it, Shane. 🎸🎸🎸

Yes 3 chords and the truth!!! I think you will be fine either way. I like keeping my pinky on the high e string 3rd fret since it means less work for me switching chords. Haha. But technically you don't have to press down that fret. Thank you for leaving a comment as always!
