Should we be wearing Ear Plugs?

Good vid. I use reusable ‘musicians earplugs’, can still hear talking etc but cuts around 20db off everything. Calms everything down and no after ride ringing ears. Also the added bonus of not being so tired after a long ride 👍🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Cheers buddy! Yes a lot of people find them pretty good but they seemed to not make much of a difference for me unfortunately. The fact that it helps so much is mind blowing! 👊👍

I'm surprised how people don't know about earplugs! They're the best. They just mute out any extra noise. It's actually pretty calming. I don't even ride yet and i wear them just because.

I love music while I’m riding, I have the in-ear-loop wire beats by Dre (in red) they are brilliant however I realise how dangerous (for a number of reasons) they are.... I did like when you said you should be prepared every time you go out for an accident - I find “checking” yourself like that before a ride helps keep focus 👍🏻 Ps let’s have more posts about your new bike dude 🤙🏻

I use custom made ear plugs, the foam ones hurt my ears and fall out when putting my helmet on

Maybe you had the wrong versions. These ones are really soft and are great! Custom made plugs are also good though

Hey, i use them from time to time when i plan to ride on the Autobahn here in germany.. Won't the fully installed bluetooth device also be save in case of a crash? Just the airpods are criticial, because of the phyisical hit - why don't you just take the system to your new helmet, wear ear plugs all day and play the music a little louder? Best regards from germany. Looking forward to meet you on our Autobahn :P

Haha welcome to the channel buddy! Yes just the earphones are the problem. I really should do that but I like not having the unit on my helmet, plus at speed with earplugs in, you won't hear the music 🙁 Thanks again and looking forward to seeing you on the autobahn 😂

You can hear music at speed with a midland unit but depends if you have a screen, helmet, what speed etc... many factors play into it

What is your helmet? Yours looks nice and specially lightweight. I have a heavy shark one I got 3 years ago. Bought a horn like yours to have a bit of fun 😅

Ah sweet buddy! Yeah the horn is amazing haha. The helmet is an Xlite, they are great and carbon fibre so very light too!

Not really, but you can't hear much over 100mph anyway. Music is good only for lower speeds but some say they use the earplugs with a hole, which allows you to hear the music but they do not work anywhere near as good as these foam plugs
