Hey BEAT family, this has become more popular over the past few years. So many Christians are jumping on this bandwagon of feeling like they should address Jesus as "Yeshua" instead of Jesus. Is this necessary? Let me know your thoughts in the discussion below and let's get into this!

Hey Allen, if Revelation 21:8 shows that Hell is the second death, doesn't that contradict that all who go to Hell suffer eternity there? I think that Hell is considered the second death more times in the Bible. No, I didn't get to Revelation 21:8 by reading.

Good morning! Thank you for another right-on-time message. I'm so grateful for your teachings. Questions: Have you done a teaching on speaking in tongues? If not, what are your thoughts? Do you believe that believers have the gift of speaking in a heavenly language (tongues) today? Also, what do you think it means to worship God in spirit and truth? How does a believer do that? Looking forward to hearing from you. Super huge hugs and blessings 🙏😇!!

Eesa in the Quraan is Eesa ibn Maryam.= Jesus son of Mary. Jesus IS NOT HIS REAL NAME - there is no "j" in Aramaic or Hebrew and "jesus was from "Yeh-Ssoos" in Greek and the Latin likewise was Iesus. We all know that "jESUS" was a Palestinian and Aramaic was his mother tongue. So, he was called ""Eesho M'sheekha" meaning "Jesus the Messiah". And we all know that Arabic, Aramaic and Hebrew are sister languages with the same alphabet where words mean the same but with diff spelling and pronunciation. "al-MaseeHu `Eesa" - "al-MaseeH" is Arabic for " The Messiah" and "`Eesa" is the name used for "jesus" in the Quaan. So you got "Eesa and Eesho - Arabic & Aramaic which was his real name.

Wasn't no English language when Yeshua was born. (The Americans, which GOD call our enemies) went over there and enslaved the people . Wasn't no J in the English language. So Men named him. That's exactly what the devil did in the garden of Eden. God said, No other name must be saved. Gabriel gave him the birth name that the Bible said," HIS NAME SHALL BE CALLED, YESHUA, what we know is , that name was not Jesus. Men said, "Call him Jesus, and the English bible was sent around the earth It's ok, to call him anyone of those names, But GOD say, " His name shall be called Yeshua, No other name. So, Do you think what men say call him is okay with God? To go against what he told Gabriel to tell Yossef (Joseph) in a dream (, he ) GOD named himself. He's the WORD, he became flesh, and walked among us. Satan has lied again, just like he did Adam and Eve, saying, Surely God didn't mean that, You can eat the fruit 🍑, and they ate. , Then God ran them Out the Garden of Eden. So what make people think they can go against what God say, and do what mere men say do, ARE YOU FOLLOWING MEN OR GOD???????

@Collin Lutz I completely agree. Why does the world call him Jesus when that’s not even his name. We have no problem calling ppl with foreign names their real name like Netanyahu, Ghandhi, Putinand the list goes on and on. The reason his real name has been changed is because the enemy does not want us to actually know him. That’s basically it. If we know his real name then we are liable to develop a closer relationship with HaMashiach. It’s crafty but the Truth will set us free from all of his tactics.

@@friggani.1580 Didn't the disciples/apostles write the New Testament? Didn't they write it in the Greek language? Ιησους(iesous) Χριστός(christ) is exactly the way they wrote His name. The "SH" in Yeshua didn't exist in Greek. Therefore it was linguistically translated as Iesous! The J in the English language was used interchangeability with the i, eventually the English Bible was written with a J and it stayed that way. Jesus in English, Yeshua in Hebrew, Iesous in Greek or Yesus in Spanish, however you wanna pronounce His name in your own language or dialect, He is the one and the same person associated with the New Testament. The only differences are linguistic pronunciations.

My story as to when I came to know Jesus, but then found Yeshua. I was going to a Pentecostal church and when I started to find out about the resurrection and his Sabbath, I had the Bishop of Charlotte of Pentecostals come over to my House on a Shabbat. And then we prayed as we then started discussing scripture and also had the book, 10 commandments twice removed, it was a 7th day Adventist book. The Bishop also purchased one to see what I was getting into… So as the long discussion went at the end we ended with prayer and I was praying and used the Name YESHUA instead of Jesus and he got upset to why did you use that name and not JESUS! I explained to him that, that is his Name! but the Bishop did not like that name. Since then I respectively told the Bishop I will no longer go back to Sunday Church and will follow Yeshua and keep his Commandments. The Bishop left and was confused and upset. Sadly I was Astonished of him being upset that when I prayed in the Name of Yeshua he got mad. That’s the reason why I pray and use the Name Yeshua. And I’m not against people who use the name Jesus, but there’s a revelation in the name YESHUA! Amen!

Heeyyyy! Somebody better preach up in here! When my daughter was born with acute epilepsy 20 yrs ago , suffering thru about 35 seizures every nap time and I was told she may never walk or talk it was "JESUS!" I called on day and night for 3 months. She is now pursuing a Masters in psychology having never suffered another seizure since and never having needed medication! When I had fallen on hard times some years ago and almost lost my property to the bank it was "JESUS!" I called on and the government decided to widen a highway right near my property, acquired a small bit of it and reimbursed me thousands allowing me to pay of the Bank right in the nick of time. When while sitting calmly reading a book and getting the urge to suddenly pray for my husband who was away on business it was "JESUS!" I called on. Only to learn on his return that a huge truck had ran him off a highway in Florida almost causing him to flip at the same time I had put down my book and started calling on that name. Oh y'all done mess around and caused me to start testifyin! Cuz I can go on. JESUS? My JESUS? The name I ve been calling on thru every high and every low? The name that has kept me and mine thru covid; my son and me both having had it? That's the name I'm not supposed to be using? You mean I was wrong to have called on that name 9 months ago since the beginning of the pandemic with my and my husband's income coming from the same small self owned business and in spite of decreased finances my bills still being paid and my cupboards never bare without having to stand on one food or voucher line? In fact, having enough to share with friends who were in need and were calling on the same name? That's the name that I've been mistakenly using? So who has been answering all these years when Ive been crying out " JESUS!"? Sure wasnt beelzebub cuz he certainly doesn't have any interest in someone who's been praising his arch nemesis all these years and he certainly wont do anything to cause me to love my Lord and saviour even more. Its not the name itself. Anyone can say it atheist, pagan and produce nothing. It's not magic. It's the faith that draws the power to the name people!🙌 Call him Jehovah! Call him Yeshua! Call him Jesus! But just call HIM!

Do we take the warnings of the Gospel, the New Testament, seriously? The Savior warned us: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). The apostle Peter gave this testimony: “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). However, we have many names for Christ: Jesus, Iesus, Iesous, Yeshua, Isa, and not to mention the pronunciation “Hey-zeus.” So is the name based on God’s revelation or on the linguistics of mankind? Therefore, which one is the revealed name from Heaven? Halleluyah is universally known throughout the world, and yet few seem to know what it actually means. Hallelu, means Praise, and YAH is the name which is above every name, and this name means “I AM.” Halleluyah means “Praise YAH.” YAH means “I AM” in Hebrew. YAH is found in Strong’s Dictionary of Bible Words # 3050. Where did the name YAH originally come from? Moses asked God for His name: “Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, (“HAYAH ASHAR HAYAH) “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM {YAH} has sent me to you.’ Moreover God said to Moses, ‘Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations’” (Exodus 3:13-15). Praise YAH, Halleluyah! According to the prophets “YAH” is the only name of salvation for us: “Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation” (Isaiah 12:2 NKJV), and Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name Yah, and rejoice before Him” (Psalm 68:4 NKJV). “I, even I, am the Lord {YAH}, and besides Me there is no savior” (Isaiah 43:11). Christ tells us that He is YAH, when He said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM {YAH}” (John 8:58). Christ is I AM, that is YAH. Therefore the angel came to Joseph and said, “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name YAHSHUA, for He will save His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21). Joseph was given a command to name Him YAHSHUA! The apostle Paul on the road to Damascus, to persecute Christians, was confronted by a bright light, and the Savior told him in Hebrew, “I am YAHSHUA...” (Acts 26:13-15). The apostle Paul heard the name which is above every name {YAH}, for he writes, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Messiah is LORD, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11) All languages are to know this one revealed name “YAHSHUA” from the LORD. What happens if one rejects the revealed name YAHSHUA, the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved? Answer: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18). The name Jesus has only existed in its present form since the 17th century. Reject the revealed name YAHSHUA, the one name by which we must be saved, and stand before the Judgment Throne condemned according to the Gospel, the New Testament. In YAHSHUA’S Name, Amen. Many Christian religious leaders are not representing the New Testament in Spirit and Truth. They are not teaching the truth about the Savior’s true name YAHSHUA. Christ said in Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” We must follow the revelation of the LORD! Another warning to the religious leaders: “And now, O priests, this commandment is for you. If you will not hear, and if you will not take it to heart, to give glory to My name,” Says the Lord of hosts, “I will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, because you do not take it to heart” (Malachi 2:1-2). There is only one name given under heaven by which we must be saved, behold the name of salvation, YAHSHUA! @@charlesyoung7326 It wasn't important enough for his own discples to use that word. His own disciples, who had lived and spoke with him using his name, wrote their gospels and letters in Greek and used the name Ἰησοῦς to refer to him. They did not write it in Hebrew or Aramaic but in Greek, showing that they believed it was fine to transliterate the name into other languages, rather than retain the Hebrew pronuciation/spelling. The New Testament writers also quote the Septuagint on multiple occasions. When the Septuagint uses the name יְהוֹשֻׁעַ for the OT character often called Joshua in English it is spelled as Ιησούς. The NT writers follow this same pattern and use the same spelling for Christ's name in the NT.

@@ramsareit Well no, it's not a fact. The New Testament, including Matthew, was written in Greek. While Papias postulated that Matthew first wrote his gospel in Hebrew or Aramaic, there is no textual, linguistic, or archaeological evidence to prove such theory. The "Iesus is Greek for worship of Zeus" is nonsense, and is also not supported by an elementary understanding of Greek. It's simply the kind of nonsense drivel you see reposted by BHI's who have no understanding of actual Koine Greek.

Christians and Muslims disagree on the nature of God, salvation, prophets, the true Scriptures, etc. For the great majority of us on both sides, we will not change our views. You believe in Allah and Muhammad as his prophet. I am a Christian, saved by the grace of my Lord and Savior, Jesus. In obedience to Christ and according to the Bible, I seek to expose error and teach the truth . . . and, as a Christian, I teach that Christianity is true. Therefore, Islam cannot be right. I say this outright so that no Muslim will accuse me of being deceptive or having a hidden agenda. My goal is to convert Muslims to Christ, so they may find salvation in Him. However, please realize that I have no hatred for Muhammad, Muslims, or the Koran. I was not wronged by a Muslim, and I have not had any childhood trauma involving anything Islamic. Instead, as a Christian, I seek to bring glory to the Lord Jesus, and in so doing, I must teach that Islam is false because it contradicts the Bible. If you are a Muslim, I know you will disagree, and perhaps you will take it as an insult or some form of persecution. I hope you do not. But, I am simply being faithful to my Lord Jesus in defending His truth as revealed in the Bible.

I do not seek to attack and call Muslims names or use emotional and poorly reasoned arguments as "proofs" for my position--as too many Christians have attempted in the past. Rather, I seek to know Islam truthfully, to convey a factual and honest representation of it to readers, and, of course, to tackle its errors as it is compared to the Bible. Therefore, these pages will be somewhat fluid in that they will be refined over time. My only desire is that you find the forgiveness of Jesus and the love of God that abounds in my heart and the hearts of His redeemed people. By the grace of Christ Jesus, my Savior. carm.org/muslims-please-read-this-first

@@islamdefenderyahya4621 New Testament was written in Greek, and the word Jesus is the word that is used. It is not the Hebrew יֵשׁוּעַ which is Yeshua. So, it is simple. Jesus is properly called Jesus. "And she will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins." (Matt. 1:21). "The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God." (Mark 1:1). "let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead--by this name this man stands here before you in good health. 11 “He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the very corner stone. 12 “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:10-12). Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, acalled as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, (Rom. 1:1). "But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone." (Heb. 2:9). "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must shortly take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John," (Rev. 1:1). As you can see, the New Testament uses "Jesus" as the name and not a Hebrew name. For people to say that Jesus' real name is Yashua or Yahusha or Yahushua, etc., is just a statement of pushing an agenda and not believing the New Testament text.

Christians themselves confess that they don't fully understand their beliefs. It's a mystery. It's a confusion. Especially when they try to teach trinity they end up in dilemma. Saying you can't understand, you need holyspirit. While they with holyspirit also don't understand. Christianity does not go together with natural common sense of a man. Our brains are useless in Christianity hence many westerners turned to atheist. God gave us brain to use in defining matters. But Christian's have renounced use of common sense. For example: How can they call someone who said "my teaching is not mine it comes from the one who sent me" (John 7:16) as God? Jesus said am a man who tell you what I hear from God (John 8:40) This is equitable to our natural sense that Jesus is a man. Sent by God. A messenger. But they refuse to admit that. John 4:12 says no one has ever seen God at any time. But Christians call Jesus as God who was seen (this is against our brains). Christianity work against Jesus own words. Jesus words become useless. If they are useful, they seek Paul to ruin Jesus words. For example: Jesus said laws must be followed. Mathew 5:19 Mathew 23:3-4 Christians renounce that with Pauline doctrine of lawlessness. Christianity doctrine does not only work against Jesus. But work against entire of prophets teachings. All prophets preach that no one can die for sins of others. God is absolutely ONE. Yet Christianity belief to the opposite of biblical teaching. Jews whom Christians say they worship same God. Renounce Christianity. Jews don't believe in any of Christianity doctrine or interpretation. Jews favour Islam than Christianity. Jews say Christianity is idolatry Roman pagans faith who wanted to overthrow Judaism.

Some Christians are being influenced by Judaism. It starts with changing the name of Jesus, then continues with following its religious calendar to observance of the same. I think these people are following the path away from the Lord. Where will it end? Going back to the law and coming under its authority? One jump from that to being converted to Judaism. It’s a slippery slope. In some Christian circles they are welcoming rabbis as experts on the Bible including the New Testament and adopting some of their practices and religious advice. We are Christians not Jews.

I think the real question is "why" do people call Jesus Yeshua? When I'm with other Christians, I typically use the name Jesus, because that is The Name they know Him. In my own private time, I use Yeshua because it feels more intimate to me, just as Abba feels more intimate than Father to me. I have a personal friend named Miguel. I could call him Michael, and he'd probably be OK with that, but I don't mind calling him by the name his mother gave him, Miguel, in his native tongue. For me, it is about respect and intimacy. In the end, God judges the heart. I don't think Jesus truly cares one way or another in this matter when the heart is pure. However, I do think it is poor form for people to use the name Yeshua to make themselves look more learned or more spiritual than others, which I've seen happen as well.

It is the heart that seeks to abide by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Halleluyah, Praise YAH, Praise YAHSHUA! Take it to heart!

Hi Allen, thank you for this video. Perfectly articulated. Little personal side story: I was in a serious dv situation, life and death, I hit my knees immediately and said "JESUS please help me"! And my attacker stumbled backwards almost like he was drunk ( to bedroom door) then he was tossed from his standing position across the bed (3 ft to his left) hit the side wall and slid back down between the bed and wall and got stuck. It gave me the split second I needed to get from under his knife and get to front door where the cops were ready guns drawn. Yes, I know for a FACT the name JESUS has power. Grace, mercy and peace to all that read this, in Jesus precious name. Edit: 1999 dv Edit* The only thing that comes to mind is the moment the restrainer is removed, and tribulation saints; could the original name Yeshua/Yeoshua and Yehovah be imperative to know & use during that time period?

Thank you so much for this video! I light up when I say the name of Jesus! I have said the name Jesus and felt demons leave me during sleep paralysis attacks. In Acts, when they Holy Spirit gave the Apostles the gift of tongues the people around could understand the tongues in their OWN languages. This, among many other things, is evidence that the name of Jesus is the name above ALL names no matter what language you say His name in, and for that we are so blessed! Praise God!

I have this urge to learn the scriptures and live by the scriptures. Which has led me to my process of learning Hebrew to get to the original roots. May take up Aramaic when I'm proffecient enough in Hebrew. Then Greek. As I get deeper in my studies, it's become more. How to explain it. Heartfelt to refer to my Messiah the Hebrew way. Also to live a life more in line to the 10 commandments because I love my Father, of course no animal sacrifices 😂 The Sabbath has become such a good time to spend with God, I always look forward to it. Just a shame I work in a store so only every Saturday is available 🤦‍♂️ Regarding the names, Yeshua, Jesus. You're all brothers and sisters in the Messiah. And that's how it should be. Bless you all. As an end note, after I've started to obey my God. Put him in control of my life. I've never experienced so much blessings in life as I do now.

With everything you must pray and ask for His guidance and clarity. I asked Him Father what is your name and He showed me by myself Psalms 68:4. For me He explained it like this no matter what country you go to “your name” remains the same, regardless of what language they speak. In Proverbs 30:4 He reveals that He knew His name would be hidden, ask Him only He can tell you the truth! Remember He wants us to call Him Father mainly because it’s the relationship that matters. Another way He showed me is that when you’re talking to your parents you don’t call them by their name, when you’re talking about your parents to someone you would use their name and title. Don’t let names confuse you pray and listen and He will reveal to you individually how to address Him! Also about the law, Christ fulfilled the law He didn’t do away with it because our Father wrote it in our hearts. What was done away with was the need for sacrificing which didn’t thoroughly cleanse mankind from sin because it had to be done repeatedly. Through the Messiah the debt is paid and now we can follow Him because how to do it is written in our hearts and His Spirit will convict you if you’re doing something wrong. People say the law is done away with however nowhere in scripture does Elohim say He erased it. What is done away with is no one is going to have to teach the law because it’s in us. Jeremiah 31:31-34

When I go to a bible study everyone there says Jesus. When my family prays they always pray in the name of Jesus. So when in company with others who all use the name Jesus, what should I do? Should I also switch to Jesus or do I continue calling him Yeshua? I almost feel like switching to Jesus is me being ashamed to call him Yeshua. I hate this dilemma. Any advice for me?

@@JC-li8kk I say stick to Yeshua. What God has convinced you in prayer, put that above an uncertainty you got from society. If switching back makes you feel a little ashamed. That's just more conviction that you should go by the name chosen in prayer. Even if it may bring some strife. I think most people won't mind if you go by the Hebrew name in the west either. So far I've not experienced it.

Yahusha “Thus said יהוה, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; and find rest for yourselves. But they said, ‘We do not walk in it.’” ‭‭Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah)‬ ‭6:16‬ ‭TS2009‬‬ The Fathers Name: יהוה = Yahuah. Pronounced correctly in the first Afro asiatic Hebrew language (not modern European Hebrew) (look up the difference) ““I am יהוה, that is My Name, and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols.” ‭‭Yeshayah (Isaiah)‬ ‭42:8‬ ‭TS2009‬‬ The topic is about a Name and don’t esteem any others. ““I have come in My Father’s Name and you do not receive Me, if another comes in his own name, him you would receive.” ‭‭Yoḥanan (John)‬ ‭5:43‬ ‭TS2009‬‬ Father’s Name in short form, יהו = Yahu ““And she shall give birth to a Son, and you shall call His Name יהושע for He shall save His people from their sins.” ‭‭Mattithyahu (Matthew)‬ ‭1:21‬ ‭TS2009‬‬ To save, root word is: שע = sha To cry out or to need saving is: shua. Believe me He does not need saving. The Son’s Name יהושע = Yahusha; ““And I have made Your Name known to them, and shall make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me might be in them, and I in them.”” ‭‭Yoḥanan (John)‬ ‭17:26‬ ‭TS2009‬‬ His own people repeatedly forgot His Name throughout history. “The Lord(a title)” has replaced יהוה (Yahuah) over 6,300 times in the Bible’s your read today.

God must reveal His name to us. Halleluyah, Praise YAH, Praise YAHSHUA! Take it to heart!

I had a bad experience with a couple friends who went towards this movement and they almost beat me down to stop calling my SAVIOR JESUS. I respect thier need to go with the original form, but I do not see the need for them to force people or look down another because they feel enlightened by the old. “Lord”, “Jesus” “Jeshua” “God” it’s the condition of the heart not the shape and movement of the glossealpharrangeal muscular structure. If you stutter..is Jesus offended? Let’s get real! Honor and glorify the one true God. Mankind..including every biblical author have used a number of specific and general names to honor and glorify and regard in detailed revelation the name and character of God. God loves to be known by us regardless of the word we use to love, praise, adore and glorify Him. Yes, Jeshua was a Jew. He is our Jewish Messiah. But He is savior of all who call upon His name in faith. I do believe that we should read the scriptures fluently in the ancient languages for better understanding but if you can’t...you can’t! God is glorified if we seek Him in any language. We should, however, be careful that we are not ignorant or overly casual or careless in the way we seek, address and glorify Him. He took great pain and effort to become the sin sacrifice for all those who will call upon Him in faith. It seems the least we can do is our very best to address God in a way that uplifts and glorifies the precious name of God. Let us strive for excellence rather than offering the least possible effort or interest that we can possibly exert in our life of godliness and in His righteousness. He gave us His ALL that we might live abundantly and eternally! Should we seek to give less than our all...everything...all the time? In Christ, at the foot of the cross, God be with you as you seek His deeper truths and share it in common expression to uplift that precious Holy God.

JESUS IS NOT A TRANSLATION OF HIS HEBREW NAME, SO WHY WOULD CHRISTIANS USE IT.👇 Jesus” did not even come into existence until the 1600’s when the letter “J” was introduced into our English language. So the name “Jesus” is only around 400 years old! The Greek "Iesus" comes from the name Zeus, the ruling God in the Greek pantheon. "Jesus” is a transliteration of a Latin name only ONE letter off “Ioesus” pronounced hey-sus - which has no meaning in Hebrew, but in Latin it means “Hail Zeus”. If Yahusha’s name had been transliterated into our language, it would have been Joshua. That was a name given to him by the early church many years after His death. They wanted to remove any Hebrew name from the new church. They eliminated His Hebrew name and blended the name of Zeus into the Christian church to make it comfortable for all those who previously worshipped the Greek and Roman gods.👇 FACTS SHOW JESUS IS NOT HIS NAME, WHICH MEANS THERE IS NO SALVATION IN THE NAME JESUS ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE.👇 Acts 4:12 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. @@deuteronomy2897 Emmanuel, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father....the name by which we address Him is less important than the heart from which we address Him and what is in our mind to frame the glory and praise we seek to offer. ‘Jesus’ is an acceptable name to Him if in your heart you have repented and claimed Him as the Son of God and your Savior. I don’t say that flippantly. Many refer to God as ‘Yahweh’. In fact the Hebrew corresponding letters that history has left to us can be interpreted and pronounced in a multitude of ways. יהוה‎, or ‘Yudh-he-waw-he’ is the Tetragrammaton that is the closest we have to the pronunciation of God of the Universe’s name as He revealed it to mankind. For a variety of reasons from xenophobia, fear of persecution and genuine reverence and zealousness to protect the honor of God’s name so that it would not accidentally or carelessly be taken ‘in vain’. Rabbinical scribes literally wrote it out of our common knowledge 1500 years ago. It has been totally unknown since 200-ish BCE. It is our heart towards God that glorifies Him. Legalism does not glorify God. Jesus...Yeshua...Joshua....Christ...was very clear about that. “Those who seek Him, them He loves”...the final and only question is not at all related to language or pronunciation..is He your Messiah?

And I mean in no way to diminish the value of Hebrew studies with me continuing this: Grammatically you are correct, however, since when is grammar, syntax, and pronunciation a condition of the heart? I didn't get a chance to read the tablets before Moses destroyed them, unfortunately. I am, however, fairly certain the 11th command was not "Thou shalt learn Hebrew before coming to worship me in spirit and in truth." Likewise, if pronunciation were important to the heart condition, then why is God delighted to be worshipped in every tongue (Revelation 5:9), let alone what are we to do with the mute or those with speech impediments? If you're that convicted to say "Yeshua", let me encourage you to do so. However, I am convicted we have much larger problems reaching the world for Yahweh, and the stumbling blocks on that warfront include hearts, minds, souls, and bodies. Halleluyah, Praise YAH, Praise YAHSHUA! Take it to heart!

The name Jesus is powerful, I was saved from a demonic attack by crying out to Jesus. It was powerful enough to convert an atheist like I was to Christ. That said, I love the name Yeshua as I do Jesus and will use both. Hebrew Roots also says there's a third name for Yeshua which is the true name - Yahushua. I think God is all knowing and powerful enough to understand we are speaking through the savior our Lord Jesus Christ no matter which of these names we use if our hearts are right. God wouldn't allow for Jesus's hidden name Yahushua to be hidden for so long and for so many Christians to go to hell for centuries because they weren't actually praying through the proper name. I understand the Hebrew Roots argument and am Messianic and into the Jewish roots myself, but I think some can take the name debate too far.

I used to use Jesus for many many years but when I researched His heritage I discovered Yahshua/Yeshua which made sense because the Father's personal name is YHWH/Yahweh which means 'He who makes what has been made'/ I AM THAT I AM so it made sense that His son bears his name Yahshua/Yeshua meaning YHWH is salvation because He is the lamb who was slain before the foundation of the World. The more I read and studied scripture and bought a restoration study bible it made more sense for me to go back to the original name and I even discovered Mary is actually Miriam. I also wondered why the names allah; buddah; krishna and other deities are called the same in other languages, officials/dignitaries who have difficult names for the West to pronounce are still called by their own personal names, yet the name that is above all names has been transliterated from Hebrew to Greek, Greek to Latin and Latin to English so it's lost it's meaning. John 5:43 comes to mind, " I have come to you in my Father's name and you have rejected me, yet if others come in their own name, you gladly welcome them" and also Acts 26:14 " And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue....." why the emphasis of Hebrew tongue? In the new millennium kingdom we will be observing Yahweh's feast days and not traditions of men. I no longer use the name Jesus and I'm teaching my kids to use LORD and Jesus' original personal name. This is what my inner self is comfortable with but whoever uses Jesus then that's their perogative. I'm definitely not part of any sect or movement I'm on my own narrow path journey following The Way, The Truth and The Light because Phil.2:12 states that we are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. 💞💞

Now I did study the Hebrew to Greek to Latin to English translations and the translation is correct Jesus is the correct name translation for Yeshua.

Halleluyah, Praise YAH, Praise YAHSHUA! Take it to heart!

I agree. His actual, or in your words, proper name is Yahshua. That is His given name, and is the name we should ALL be using. “Jesus” as a name is one of the biggest deceptions of Christianity. When He says to pray in His name, I think most would agree He was referring to the name He was actually called, not some made up name that was to be a “transliteration”. As many times as He prophesied, if He wanted to be called by anything else, I’m sure He would have made mention. Several scriptures refer to what happens at the call of His name, and again, I struggle with the belief that He is not referring to the name He was called at that time. To discredit, diminish or otherwise devalue His ACTUAL name is heretical to me. Philippians 2:9-11 really sits with me on this point... I cannot equate a name that was not His to the name that was. Yahshua is the name referenced, and I don’t care what people say, Jesus isn’t the same name. Period. It does not carry the same power, authority or significance.

@@nicostringfellow6013 Technically, if the New Testament were written in Hebrew or Aramaic, Yeshua would have been the form the authors used. But it wasn’t. It was written in Greek. So the authors represented the name as it was known in Greek. The name “Jesus,” in fact, was well-established in Greek transliteration as Iēsous thanks to the Septuagint, where it is found over 250 times. The New Testament authors did not change the name from Yeshua to Jesus, nor did the early Catholic Church. Whenever modern theorists insist on the name Yeshua, they are contending for a position the New Testament authors themselves never took. The name of Jesus appears over 900 times in the Greek New Testament, every single time as Iēsous. If one travels to Israel, one will find the name of Jesus is still pronounced “Yeshua” today. But not in China, nor in Russia, nor in any European, North, or South American country will he or she find this pronunciation. The spelling and pronunciation of the name of Jesus is not a matter of conspiracy, but of culture. Beyond this, I have used the name Jesus in my walk, and He is alive an active. I have seen this "debate" drive people right out of the church. Honestly, I would use the name Yeshua if in my studies I found this is what He wanted to be called...or if I felt it brought more people to Christ...I have found neither to be true. I want people to know the love of Christ, and come to the life changing, life saving power HE offers. This type of division does not help Christ's great commission nor does it build up the body of Christ. I hope you will consider these questions as you continue to post and encourage your brothers and sisters in Christ. God Bless

@@joshthornhill Iesous. This is what you’re referring to as Jesus. And even in its pronunciation, it sounds NOTHING like what is said today. The hard “J” sound was not used. It was a “Y” sound. What I, personally, believe is when He was acknowledged, He was called by His name, Yahshua. That was the name He responded to, the name that He was introduced as and the name He told others. Now, we can go back and forth on the whole Jesus thing, but I’d have to say you’re incorrect in saying that the Greek language used Jesus. It used Iesous. Looking into how THAT was pronounced, (ee-ay-soos) not how people say Jesus. What I love is how as more knowledge is released, more revelation is given, and the Father Yah opens up more of the truth, how RELIGION will kick against what is uncomfortable to accept. History shows us His name. We KNOW what His name actually is. But instead of acknowledging and saying, “now that we know His name, we should use it,” there are these debates about rising ANOTHER NAME to the same position as His given name, even though we know it. That is hilarious to me because it’s flat out heresy. Jesus and Iesous don’t even sound the same, but you’re convinced of this Jesus. It’s uncomfortable, I get it. I went through the exact same fight, personally, as I came to understand that Jesus and Iesous and Yahshua were not all the same. It was a struggle for me, but I settled on calling Him by His name. Not a translation nor transliteration. Why? Because it’s HIS name that has power. No matter who wrote what or when or how it was changed. That doesn’t matter. What matters is that we know His name and should be using it. This is of the utmost importance to me, personally, as scripture shows us that there would be a time, or times, where people would cause us to forget His name. Yah’s name. The same can be said of who people call God. But God is not a name, but a title. That’s why scripture calls Him The Most High God. Indicating, by itself, that there are other, lower gods. Several scriptures show us how He discusses other gods and even is present among other gods. But people insist on along Him God. That’s not His name, and He even said He would cause us to remember His name. Look at Isaiah 52:6. I read it in both the AMP and the NLT. He does have a name that doesn’t change. It is found in Psalm 68:4. That is what we should be calling Him, just like we should be calling Yahshua by His name.
