I think you like the electronic blaster may have more uses then we all thought maybe steel rims painted white to match the top with 4”-6” hubcaps chrome and same in wheel nuts 👍👋🇨🇦

I'd personally paint those wheels semi gloss black to contrast with the bright green you're gonna paint the truck. I don't think the white walls would fit the look. I'd go lettered. But that's just me. You're killing it! Keep wrenching!

I think this truck would look better painted in Dark Green of the 1940's Diamond T trucks rather than the disco green of the 1970's.

Those American racing mags are very rare. There are made out of magnesium. If you take off all of that paint then wire wheel the star's of the wheels it will have a beautiful shine. These rims well liked in America

Its only my belief that if a project takes a good long while, I tend to change my mind on the look or the design. Never really a problem with colors but over all design gets me just about every time. Like how its going and of course the day job is the hardest part of finding the time to complete anything

Thanks for the tip on the dipstick modification, I will be using that for sure on a build I've had going for a few years. Not that complicated, just taking my time, and maybe too many other 'honey do's' side tracking me. As you said..one bite at a time. I thought I saw the rear fender lift when you changed the tires. I know its not in the final place, but just caught it moving.

Unless a person watches the build, they would not know all the cool pieces came from like the dash. I would be hard tell because when your done the parts fit the area and look like they belong there. Even thou your not taking this truck to the roundup, the one you are taking was a awesome build for you and it's cool!

I like the wheels. But what I would do is sink some flat moon type discs to the five spoke. Make it look like a fancy type moon wheel. You did all the work already. Just add the moons. Secure with Allen head screws. Whitewalls look good.

Maybe save an old axle to mount wheels on and turn them on your lathe for cleaning and laser blasting... I think the finish would be great!!!! Coule chuck up that driveshaft and laser that as well!!!
