What you should not forget is the US Government to be obeyed is not the people in power but the law of the land. If the people in power proclaim we the people should do or not do something that is contrary to the constitution then it is not just our right but our duty to say no.

@@JosephDunegan I’m not sure what part of the constitution you are referring to. I may just not be aware of that specific law that has been passed. I am not referring to a law that is simply a bad idea and should be stricken or rewritten for the greater good. I am referring to laws and orders that specifically go against the Constitution. For example if a church is commanded to not meet, and then again if the police are commanded to arrest those individuals when they refuse to comply. Or when the people are commanded to turn in or restrict their firearms. This list can go on and on.

EXCELLENT QUESTION! There are extreme instances when Christians cannot obey their government. That extreme instance occurred in Germany as a result of the artificially created hyperinflation of the 1920s created by the bitterness of France and the UK towards Prussia that followed the 1918 armistice ending the Great War. The Great Depression made things even harsher and those economic conditions opened the door for Hitler and the Nazis to take advantage of an emotionally weakened German people. They submitted to the unjust policies of the Nazi fascists. Christians like Dietrich Bonhoeffer refused to obey the Nazi fascists and he chose to obey God, whose thoughts and ways are higher than humanity's thoughts and ways (Isaiah 55). I would hope that the constitutional republic which the USA has, would safeguard the American people from tyranny whether fascist or communist! The American Constitutional Republic has checks and balances, separation of powers, three branches of government that are supposed to hold one another accountable. Sadly, whenever a MONOPOLY occurs, the door is wide open for damage to our constitutional democracy to emerge, no matter which party is in the driver's seat! A constitutional republic can quietly drift into a social democracy and from there gradually evolve into socialism with tyranny like what happened to Venezuela and Cuba and Germany under the Nazis.

Why are Pastors doing the opposite of what Paul teaches in 1Cor 5:1-13.. Judge those inside the church and leave those who do not know Ya Hu Shua to God. Republicans and Democrats do not represent all of God's laws, so you are teaching the flock to cherry pick sin. which is not Biblical, since God does not show Partiality, sin is sin.

God's laws include the ten commandments which was given to the lost tribe of Israel, the Gentiles have Paul's teachings which is save by grace through faith in the new covenant. Ya Hu Shua came for the lost tribe of Israel not the Gentiles.
