Should you be doing Bent Over Rows or Pendlay Rows?
Personally, I prefer the Pendlay Rows for strength and Bent Over Rows for hypertrophy.
Both have their place in training, but if you have a specific training goal, one of these might be better suited for you than the other.

I performed the pendlay row in the gym and had multiple people come up to me saying if you can't handle the weight, don't carry it. I was of course, told that just cause I was skinny. I still perform them, now it's just in my home gym. Nothing worse than entitled people interupting my workout.

After failure at bent-over rows, I instantly started doing pendlay rows.

Then you must not be rowing with a high weight or with good form because pendlay rows require about 30% less load than bent over rows.

I'd do my pendlay row with a supination on my grip, kinda like a Dorian Yates' style row but starting from the ground

I do like a combination of both of these. I position myself as if im doing a pendley row, with my back/torso parallel to the floor, and i row the bar without it touching the floor and repping it out

You are doing pendley slightly wrong. You start the pull with torso parallel to the ground, but as soon as it gets of the floor, your shoulders go up. They have to stay there, no cheating with hamstrings and glutes. It is a mistake that we can see as a minor thing on 60 kgs, but with 80 or 90 it will become way more visible.

I recommend the Pendlay Row for strength / performance, and the Bent Over Row for hypertrophy / getting a good pump.

Both would kill my Lower back. If I make a set of easy rows, I would have back pain for a week

Soreness or bad pain? Might have to work on your bracing or something else if you're getting bad pain.

Try a different angle. Placing your barbell on an elevated surface could help, or even swapping the barbell for something like a set of kettlebells might allow you to focus on bracing.

Start slow and try a banded bent over row variation, focusing on a solid hinge position with your hips and back.

Try the pendlay. You can also sub out a barbell for DB's, as that might take some stress off of your low back.

What is the rap range for the Pendley row?

Since the Pendlay Row is typically more used for strength and becoming explosive, I'd recommend a rep range like 4-6.

It’s not a Pendlay row. It’s a barbell row. Glenn would even tell you that.
