Good video as usual Steve, the flex duo makes sense as most people buy a double oven thinking they will use mainly the top one only to learn that they've paid for an expensive toaster oven. Thats not the case with Samsung as both cook evenly with a convection fan. In Canada where i am, the slide-in is gone, its totally a front control free standing that doesn't overlap the countertops. GE Profile and Cafe are great options and not to be overlooked if you do want 2 separate ovens. GE will offer you a flexible middle burner that can be for a pot or for a griddle, Cafe is just 6 burners. Kitchenaid needs to bring back a true clean option, aqua lift is a deceptive name for a manual clean after a steam bath.

This range is perfect for us. Cooking is even in both top and bottom. We love the convection features and the high output from the burners. The middle griddle /grill works really well also. Our dual fuel flex duo bought last mo th does not have the overlay like the previous model. We love the air fry and the fact the the oven door does not open onto floor level. The display is also at the perfect Irwin’s angle, unlike the Bosch and cafe model ranges we looked at.

Does the insert that divides it into 2 ovens fit in the drawer?

I currently have a Samsung electric range and love it for making NYC-style pizza... the oven tops out at 550 °F but I set the temperature offset to +35 °F (settings menu) which gives me close to 600 °F for baking pizza which is perfect! Can this flex-duo do the same?
@YaleAppliance12 жыл бұрын
The Flex-Duo has a set temp of 550 degrees as well. I'm assuming the same offset setting would be included in this range.

More annoying, is the warming center. It doesnt mention that it turns off after 2 hours. So if you're trying to hot-hold something on your stove, save the time and just throw it out.

The new Samsung range in my house needs to be exorcised. I touched it and it started up and had a life of its own. It is a devils range.

I have a Samsung duo over its sucks the first year the knobs cracked and broke off, look it up on the net, it seems not to to get to the right temperature. it's cost me $1,600 buck I would stay away from this oven, my old $400.00 cooked better in my opinion. But they make nice TV's , I have a Sony.

Buy absolutely nothing Samsung. The worst appliance company with the most repairs. Lots of electronically failures, just ask a repair company.
@YaleAppliance1 Жыл бұрын
We are a repair company...and you are not wrong. Product is generally reliable, but the service is a problem
@Prophasi2 ай бұрын
@@YaleAppliance1 Sorry, did I misinterpret the reliability chart in the video? I thought it showed only 6.35% of Samsung units needing repairs within the first year, making it more reliable than the others (Bosch, KitchenAid, LG, etc.), in most cases by a lot?
