Just a quick question, I just bought mines and they come just with 5 holes in the center where the lug nuts are, but I see other people with the same model 57dr and they have 10 holes or 10 counterbores in each wheel, you why is that? Thanks

They will hold up great. What is your concern? If it’s sizing then 18x9.5+38 is perfection on all WRX’s. Even the VB’s which are limited to running aggressive wheels while on coilovers

So how much better are forged wheels compared to these cast wheels? Seems like forged is the way to go if you want lighter and stronger wheels. Seen other forged wheels for cheaper from Konig, not sure how these compare to that? Are you basically paying for the Rays name?

Much stronger and lighter. There is a difference still between FlowForge and monoblock Forged wheels.

Konig wheels are flow formed. The reason these are heavier because they have mold form cast faces and rolled barrels. But they’re lighter than regular full cast wheels by a lot. They’re also very strong because rays has great technology. That’s why most drifters you see will have these 57s.

@@ValkenDnBgrams light are flow form wheel there not full forge wheels you gotta buy volk racing for that flow form wheels get pretty close to forge wheels In weight but there still not as stiff or as strong as full forge wheels.

If Rays is a leader in wheel technology then why aren't the Gram Lights Flow Forged? Even Rota makes their Grid flow forged now. $2,400 for cast wheels is absolutely ridiculous. Tell Rays to get off their backside and make the 57DR flow-forged.

​@@vivid_racing Lmao...I did a little more research. From what I gathered the construction of the Gram Lights is equal to or superior to other manufacturer flow-forged processes. Also heard Ray's impact testing is 20% higher than the industry standard. I don't know if the latter is true, but if it is it justifies why the gram lights cost what they cost.
