Not bad for a starting position! It is very easy to buy in on trending stocks but the problem is knowing when to sell or hold, which is why having guidance is important. I've been in touch with my CFA for about 3 years now and although I was initially skeptical about it, I will say I've made more progress within a that time frame generating 7-figure profits.

Maybe over 5 years or so, it's a great company and I made a lot of money from it. But the price you are paying is for over 40% growth rate. The same way Microsoft became over priced in 1999. It took 12 years for Microsoft to get back to that valuation. Fantastic company, but it is ridiculously over valued.

@@oneforthemoney5579 I agree with you, long term investing is the best way. I have always been a long term investor and I still hold some of my first ever stocks I bought. All I am saying is, a company can become extremely overvalued and you may see no growth for 10 plus years. That doesn't seem like a good investment to me. If the metrics change, like palantir grows at over 40% or comes down to reality then I'll be a buyer again.

@blakecripps9756 I have been wrong and I have been right. I made good gains on this and I jumped ship over a month ago, I caught the top at $82.50. It fell directly after all the way to 71 and is just now returning to that high. I decided I was not coming back. I think it will slow significantly or pull back again. Its future is big, but I think the carnival ride is over. Im 100% guessing.

Even Alex Karp didn't expect to reach the 70s before 2029. The price is way ahead of itself IMO, I sold at 79 for a 130% profit.
