It's just sad that the company behind it built a reputation that completely overshadowed an otherwise one-of-a-kind product. My review is specifically targeted towards my local audience here in the Philippines where they can get this monitor from a reputable store with at least 7 days replacement and 1 year warranty. I asked Gizmo Plus if they have enough stock in case of warranty or replacement and they assured me they have. Also, I mentioned on the video that Dough Tech now offers a couple of new variants of their gaming monitors, but I forgot to disclaim to order at your own risk should you choose to get this monitor directly from Dough. Overall, I am still quite happy about my experience with this monitor and I just hope that Dough as a company can bounce back, or at least some other more established brand can come up with the same set of features this monitor has. Yeah they’re a really scummy company but their actual monitor if you can get it is great. BUT they recently started selling through retailers like B&H which is probably much more reliable. However now they have the Spectrum Black OLED 4K on the horizon so once again I’m waiting for them to release that especially bc it’ll come in a 32” model. Won’t be til at least next year tho

You can always go through your bank and they will issue you a refund for getting scammed. Doesn’t matter how much time has passed. Your bank will refund you if you have proof of purchase. I’ve done it a million times

I received my monitor but it's seriously terrible. Run away. Up to date firmware and it refuses to show certain devices while literally any other display works fine.

That OSD section is EXTREMELY useful, you have my sub. but you skipped one item in the menu, I wanted to know if you could turn off the power delivery to the USB C input port, I will be using my laptop barrel charger instead.

They will never fix these issues. They've had them on every launch. 70% of their customers get ripped off. I never got one or a refund. They have also barred me from their Facebook page

Just got this monitor to use with my Mac and PC setup and it really does not work as seamlessly as it does for everybody else. If I switch to my PC, the mouse and keyboard I have set up on the hub (identically to how you show yours in the video) just don't work on the PC side. And then when I try to switch back to my Mac, it continuously tells me "No Signal". Updated all the firmware and everything and yeah, just not working how it should. Despite the monitor being high refresh rate and generally really beautiful, I might have to return it or something depending on how support responds to my email. It's been hours of frustration and no luck and I'm about to switch back to my Studio Display. The 60hz refresh rate isn't ideal, and the visual fidelity when I use it on my PC via a VR cable isn't always the best, but i rarely had issues. So disappointed.

That's because these reviewers get hand assembled and tested units, we do not, that is, if we get the items we gave them money for at all. Return that turd and get a monitor form people who can make working firmware. I hate that so many KZbinrs are just blindly advertising this company. But it also shows me who is full of shit and who is giving real and objective reviews.

@@neon_hk16yeah they’re a shady company so NEVER buy directly from them. Notorious for not sending out product for over a year if ever. Dunno if that’s change. but people can finally buy and actually receive when buying through B&H and other third party retailers now like foreign Amazon (not US) now. A commenter above said they got within 4 days from B&H To OP, I would and personally am waiting for the 32” OLED next year. Once you go OLED you can’t go back and it’s literally everything I want in a 4K OLED monitor. All other current options are matte, have horrid gamer aesthetic, and/or don’t have thunderbolt support

Please do not purchase Eve/Dough/Dough Tech/Dough Spectrum products! I am one of those people that placed an order for a product and did not receive a display. Furthermore I cancelled the order and the company never issued a refund. I am going through the dispute process in order to get my money back.

I think the problem is the logistics and customer support, I think its best not to buy via their website, i noticed the people who were complaining are mostly those who bought through their website. I think it's best to buy it from known reseller shops that have it in stock in their inventory.

@@TechBroll But on the whole, they are not good or solid monitors. There are so many reviews and posts stating that their firmware is crap, and their monitors regularly fail. It won't matter where you buy it from, after 30 days you are stuck dealing with Dough, and they never reply back. I haven't had a fraction of the issues with any other monitor in history compared to my Spectrum. It is by far the worst monitor I have ever owned. I now have a mix of 6 27" Gigabyte, Samsung and Asus monitors and have had 0 issues or needed to update firmware.

Lol, no. Don't listen to these reviewers, they are shills. Even if you receive one from a supplier, they are garbage monitors plagued with problems and bad firmware. My USB hub failed and killed the monitor, I can't get anyone to RMA or send it anywhere to get repaired. They will just ignore your e-mails and delete your online comments. I have an expensive paper weight now. But maybe you will get lucky, it's up to you.

That's true. That's why I'll probably only get it from other sources/stores to make sure you'll get the monitor. They probably didn't expect the amount of orders they would get and were not ready to fulfill all of them back then. Still a pretty good monitor though.

You get 30 days from any retailer but after that you are SOL and have to deal with Dough. See how they treat their customers who reach out with issues. STOP SUPPORT THEM FULL STOP.

Do not give this company any of your money. I originally pre-ordered a Spectrum QHD 280Hz back in 2021 for $100. In July of 2022 I paid an additional $565.95 as it was supposedly about to ship. Didn't happen. I finally got fed up and cancelled my order on 10/23. Dough support said I should have a refund within 20 days on 10/24. Guess what? NO REFUND YET. They are *literal* criminals.
