I got my Galaxy S23 ULTRA last month and I just tried out the Nightography, The quality was fantastic, including the zoom in close up of the Moon 🌕, I don't need to upgrade to the S24 ULTRA because I just found out that the Galaxy AI is coming to the S23 ULTRA very soon, so I'll be skipping the S24 ULTRA and wait for the S25 ULTRA In 2025 that's when I start upgrading.

S23 ultra has better long range zoom and indeed has AI. Perfect.

1. I'm S21U user, but when traveling with network and navigation on (for camera to get location in shots) I get phone connected to my 10k powerbank halfway through the trip. Should be the same for any phone, 5000mAh battery is just not enough for this. 2. I shoot mostly stills, and I used to have vivo x30pro shooting 64mp ones, and though there were drawbacks, I found that hi res matters a lot, if there is a choice. which led me to samsung as it's capable of bringing that too. 3. I consider S Ultra line from samsung the best camera phones for reasons: A: 3000+€ killer feature many don't know about - automatic electronic ND filter. B: Color science close to reality, similar to sony as the only other brand to have no weird color tones (maybe slight magenta I don't mind). C: HDR in expret raw app, as opposed to old vico phone which could blown out sign just on sunny day, this one can shoot Againt the Sun itself and bring out shadows. D: Hi Res Hdr Raws, that actually look like hi res. Not many (apple, sony recently, samsung) can bring details worth that resolution (which makes a difference in group shots, etc...) but still only apple and samsung can shoot it in raw, with samsung having also tele hi res and new one coming with superwide and maybe even near tele too - basically the most reach and choices for hi res. E: Samsung got the best field of view from superwide 12/13mm (some having 14mm or such) to 5x hi res, which, however thanks to great "anti quad bayer" hi res capabilities can resolve sharp images like normal hi res sensor would, making it great to shoot at 9.9x or maybe even further - based on how did update improved that glitch where 9.9x looks better than 10x 😂. It's basically higher resolving with less noise than optical 10x on old phones. Well, I wanted to mention auto eND the most, but as a photographer, I found other reasons important too. I upload pictures to onedrive, so drive size should matter less, but it doesn't, even more if you record 8K which should be great in such a small device to not use. I got 256Gb version, but I would go surely for 1TB one. No idea if less would be enough, but just that worry is enough to tell it's not enough, the same as my internet speed for upload of 8K 😂

Would you recommend this phone instead Honor Magic 6 Pro?
@markfriday6 ай бұрын
Hey, Marko! I haven't really used any phones from Honor before So I can't base my opinion on anything. One thing I do know is that Samsung knows what they're doing, they've been doing this for a long time already. So if you put that into consideration, I guess I would still go for the Galaxy S23 Ultra but of course if Honor has brought something stable to the table that is innovative and promising, I might actually try it.

Please talk about the battery life in particular, how many screen on time when in use..
@markfriday8 ай бұрын
Hey, Lawrence! I briefly mentioned the battery life in this video! It's really impressive, you're pretty much good for a whole day's worth of watching videos and/or playing games. One tip is to play around with the brightness levels. I found that I get to maximize the battery life without compromising viewing ease between 65%-85% brightness!

I have an S23 Ultra and as soon as the s24 Ultra came out, my S23 Ultra had problems, the screen freezes, the speed of the device dropped by 60%, the speakers crackle and that's right after the Update. The battery charges 2 hours longer than before. Imagine paying so much money for the device, but it is actually a device for advertising millions of other things.

Hey, man. Sorry to hear about your experience. I can't really say the same about my device. Mine is still as good as the day I got it. I suggest you email Samsung about it. Yours could be defective. Hope they can help you out with your predicament! 👏

Mobile companies have a strategic plan to force customers to change to new phones, they purposely send monthly, quarterly updates which actually degrades the phone function and force customers for buying new phone,i too am using samsung s7 edge,samsung a31 and samsung s23ultra......all phones suffer same problem

to be honest , samsung has just ruined the battery life of s23 ultra since last two months since its update,the battery time has halved since two months, since then about 3 updates have come i thought that battery time will improve but it didnt, there no battery improvement, same is the case is with my friend who has the same model.
