Hey Coool, thank you so much for taking the time to make this video answering my comment from a couple of weeks ago.. You've really covered a lot of options with great explanations as to why and how to do this. I especially like your work around for Zombie!

Thank you for that awesome xplanation Gary. I encounter that stuff myself as well when I'm trying to sing low songs. I often have to octave low songs to avoid sounding like a roaring stovepipe. 😅Singing low is very exhausting for me, I have to focus very hard. "Someone You Loved" and "Fear not this Night" are easy for me, but even "I see Fire" got some points, which are too low for me and I either have to change the whole key or octave up. 😃

Thanks for watching Tal! Yeah it can be really exhausting to be singing a large portion of the song in a range that is uncomfortable for us. It's great that you've got some songs which feel comfortable because it helps you realise when other songs aren't feeling right. Sometimes, you'll find that people have uploaded instrumental versions of song in different keys to suit your voice. I have a playlist of songs like 'Into The Unknown' and 'She Used To Be Mine' where the instrumental has been changed quite a lot from the original and it's really enjoyable to sing along in these keys.
