this video was so articulate and informative, that i no longer need to question if i should or shouldn’t, because i will. One step at a time and with 100% certainty. The way you carry yourself reflects in the way you speak, teach and show. You’re patient and beam with confidence. If i had a checklist as to how a leader is supposed to be, i’d show them this video. Thank you.

Thank you sir right now I'm a PFC 3 going on Spc. I'm a year in the Army I have a lot of schooling done before I join I want to go green2gold chaplain
@Therealc_hill Жыл бұрын
That’s awesome, however, becoming a chaplain will require and Ed-delay so you can earn your M-DIV. Green to Gold May not allow you to stay in college for an additional 4 years. Green to Gold ADO Program is a 2year program. But, do not let this stop you from pursuing chaplaincy. The Army is always changing and who knows what can happen. There is another option to become a chaplain, but I do not want to overload you with info. Just let me know if you’re interested.

Very informative video! I was in the reserves and I’m going active duty stationed at Ft Stewart. If I want to get into this program can I go school online? And if yes, how am I going to do PT and all the ROTC stuff?

Reading through the ADO option bonus repayment stood out to me as I'll be 2 years into a 6-year contract by the time my packet would get picked up, can you shed any light on this sir?

Great question, I answer this question in my latest Q&A, link will follow…
You only had to do 2 years of school and ROTC? Did you already have any college credits prior to doing G2G? And if not will you need to do 3 or 4 years?

G2G cadets in my experience were terrible. Prior service pre Madonnas thst walked around saying they knew it all and refused to work with others. Some of the biggest egotistical ncos i have ever met. I hated my experience with G2G cadets. They offered no help, guidance or support and never failed to remind regular cadets how hard their basic was and thst they knew more and did more. Try to be the opposite if you apply.
@blackxx55 Жыл бұрын
The g2g cadets I experienced weren't professional and were disrespectful and rude to regular cadets. They didn't take ROTC and treated it and everything else involved with it as a joke.

Hey I had a question about the program maybe you can help me out. I currently have 51 credits on my JST and 9 additional credits from a random university. I'm tracking you need close to 60 credits to even start putting the g2g packet together. What if the school I want to do ROTC in doesn't recognize the majority of my credits based off my JST? Do I have to apply to the school and have them evaluate my jst to see how many credits they give me before I even consider putting the packet together?
@Therealc_hill Жыл бұрын
Don’t waste time, start your packet now! Once accepted, your university’s registrars office will inform you on which credits are transferable to your degree. This is crucial because it will allow you to game plan how many classes you need to take while your G2G packet process is underway. (FYI You DO NOT need 60 credits to start your G2G application, that’s a myth). During your G2G packet process your University’s ROO (Recruiting Operations Officer) will have you fill out a form (104R) that form will is essentially your ROTC program and University ensuring that you will be able to complete your degree within the allotted 4 semesters (2years) the Army is sending you to school for. I hope this helps, I think I’ll do a video to further explain. I know a lot of Soldiers have these same concerns. Thanks for the question!

Heading to CST this summer & im honestly nervous. I’m really shooting for AG but not sure how I rank on the OML & amongst my peers. My GPA is good & I scored a 539 on the ACFT last fall. I volunteer for fundraising events with ROTC anytime I can, am involved in clubs on campus & work during my summer breaks. Is there anything that you think I could do in addition to better my chances of getting AG? Is the branch super competitive? If so, do i need to be a top cadet to get selected?
@quanxbx5529 Жыл бұрын

Great question, it sounds like you’re doing what you can to position yourself for success. I would say keep it up, and be prepared for your branch interview. Competitiveness changes per year, but a tip for your branch interview: Be authentic, show personality, and show you care about Soldiers careers and their families! Again, you sound pretty squared away! Keep me updated please…
