A lot of things are chill with Zhongli + Fischl. If you like Clorinde, that is fine. It is certainly better than liking Cyno, i.e. If you can test something on Fischl: try a Crit 5 star bow (like Harp) and the Fontaine set. Go on overworld, pop Oz and use, say, Qiqi or whatever attacks fast. Oz kills overworld stuff by himself, attacking kills things kinda fast.

Yep. That's the problem. Ayato is one of my favorite characters when I'm travelling, doing dailies on the phone. "Extra steps" kinda defeat the purpose. You gotta deliver as much as Neuvilette/Arlechinno to warrant the extra steps. Heck, even TF Keqing with extra steps sounds bad already.

I think I have slightly more investment but running quickbloom with yaoyao, furina and fischl have similar times to the runs he showed for nahida quickbloom. I have her on an r3 blackcliff sword if anyone is considering her but doesn’t have nahida, she’s still fine especially on TF. In practice nahida might save you like 5-10 seconds on a run but nothing crazy

I feel like guide makers haven't practiced enough with Clorinde because I keep seeing them tout 5N3E as the standard in the rotation, or even less if you're bursting an getting the initial lunge off. E E 6N3E is not only doable but reliable with the right inputs, and is realistic even in abyss if you have a source of interruption resistance like her C2, Kirara/Baizhu shield, or Beidou/Sac Dehya in OL teams. The timing is tight but not hard to pull off with practice.

I know this effects a very small percentage of people, but if you're like me and play on 150+ ping I've discovered that (since BoL is server side) if you input your e as soon as your third NA goes through, you'll actually miss getting the buffed lunge damage and it makes clorinde feel fucking horrible to play, so you should probably do N4E instead of N3. I hope the zaj man mentions this in the post release.

She's very similar to Cyno without the reliance on her burst, basically all of her good teams are just cyno teams where you swap cyno with clorinde. But personally i find Cyno's attacks and animations a lot more satisfying to use than Clorinde's, her attacks dont feel like they have any impact, they dont feel that good to use and it doesn't help that her uptime is way too short, she's a skip for me based on her playstyle.

While the interruption resistance isn't as great as one would hope prior to constellations. her dps is on par if not a little bit less than raiden. No she will not "transform" your account via doing a teamwide buff or significant damage in non chevreuse or non dendro reaction teams but in a hypercarry clorinde team, compared to raiden shogun, she will do single percent less damage at c0. Which is great compared to other 5 star dps': She is great character. Great design, fun and fast gameplay. One annoying thing is her downtime - which is not actually that bad if you burst after her elemental skill because her burst is around 2 seconds. So, downtime is actually 16-7.5-~2 = 6.5 seconds which is more than enough time to on field her supports and come back to be ready for a rotation again, but still, she could have 100 percent uptime. However, this would make it so that she could infinitely dash, which would be quite gamebreaking at c0. Which I would prefer in a game like genshin where there's no ranked incentive to be better than other players. I dislike how you say she's not going to "take your account to the next level". That expectation is vague and quite unreasonably founded. Every team just needs 2 dps of a different element and supports for those dps(an anemo or a reactive element support). Clorinde is the strongest electro dps at c0 neck and neck with raiden at c0. btw - she's not an archon...

Disclaimer, blah blah pull for who you like or who's fun to play. Do you have Furina? I'd argue Furina has a higher pull value than either Clorinde or Alhaitham. There's really only three _great_ 5-star supports in this game and Furina is one of them (alongside Nahida and Kazuha) whereas there's a dozen or more good-to-great DPS carries out there. If you have Furina. Then do you have Keqing or Raiden? Both of them are good substitutes for Clorinde with small-to-zero DPS loss. While on the other hand there's no other true Dendro DPS like Alhaitham. However, Alhaitham is not as easy to play as other DPS carries and it's worth really spending some time understanding his play style and making sure you're okay with it. There's also the issue of 4-stars to consider since these banners don't have good 4-star complements. tl;dr - personally, I'd get Furina. If you've already got her, get Alhaitham as long as his combat style doesn't annoy you. If you're short on primos, then just skip entirely. We're like four patches away from Pyro archon.

One thing to keep in mind that Zajef wouldn't notice because he has a godly 22ms ping: high ping can really screw you over. I play with around 175ms. If I press the skill too fast after the 3rd shot it gives me the 70% bond of life skill but it still consumes the bond of life I get from the 3rd shot. I have to wait a bit after the 3rd shot so that the BoL appears on my hp bar, then I can use skill.

Biggest disappointment is the reliance on interruption resistance, because her uptime is so short dodging or getting hit feels like a massive DPS loss. Biggest pleasant surprise is how well she can close distance and keep hitting enemies that move around a lot. Overall, fine, pretty good, pull her if you like her. I don't regret pulling her at all but wouldn't necessarily recommend her to someone who doesn't specifically like the character.

That's a problem a lot of DPS have issues with imo. Neuv and Arle have suffer it, I use Xiao plunge a lot and getting staggered mid jump is an instant restart. But I agree, I wouldn't recommend her to anyone that either doesn't like her character or has other characters to help with her issues like a decent shielder. This Abyss in particular are just full of hard hitters so she's going to shine much better in an Abyss that doesn't have enemies that delete you in 3 hits.

I've been using her with chevruse. She feels way more consistent with chevruse than raiden. The biggest surprise has been how well she works with dehya. Even with dehya, im still getting 30-45 second clears on kenki. Im also insanely terrible at kenki. i have no idea how to stack them reliably.

Not really, unless Keqing was Keqing Pro. She is more like Cyno Pro Max. The gap looks smaller than base model -> pro max, fischl+dendro makes it even closer. Do whatever you want, but invest on your Fischl (i.e. C4 from shop, crit, and so on). Oz is the one doing the heavy lifting.

Nah, she is electro Childe. She's more akin to a driver than a carry or typical on field dps. A more complex playstyle than Keqing, similar to Childe, and basically is THE driver for a C6 Fischl. Childe abuses his high hydro application for XL to vape, while Clorinde abuses her atk speed for Fischl to trigger A4 and coordinated attack to aggravate. And both Fischl and XL are top 1.0 4* characters where the drivers go on field and spam Normal Attacks, with both drivers being battle-borne fighters.

She’s essentially Keqing with better range, better gap closing, and self-healing. She’s not a must pull by any means, but I’m really enjoying her. If you don’t like Keqing teams, or conversely if you really, really like Keqing specifically, Clorinde won’t be a good pull. I really wish she hadn’t lost the 1.5 seconds on her duration, but TF eases that frustration. As usual with normal attackers, she’s vulnerable to stagger, though her range and dash-through mitigates this somewhat. And yes, simply being Electro is a limiting factor. She wants to Aggravate, and Fischl dominates that scene. Teams outside of Aggravate just don’t shine the same light on any Electro units. Even Hyperbloom variants are more about the Dendro and Hydro units. Raiden is the only exception, simply because she has slower attacks with high scalings and her team energy refund. I wish they would buff Superconduct. Electro and Cryo are desperate for some variety.

She does a lot of damage, generates a lot of energy, applies a lot of Electro, takes nearly zero field time, and has nearly 100% uptime on Oz. She also takes very little investment compared to most of the other units that are on her level. She deserves...most of the praise she gets. Not all, but most. You don't have to like her or use her, this is an easy game after all, and you should enjoy it however you like. I don't like Sucrose, no matter how much Zajef has shilled for her in the past. I recognize what she's capable of, but I just don't like using her.

​@@KingofBlah37well Fischl is to Clorinde what Xiangling is to Childe. Both Childe and Clorinde are drivers in their own right. Xianglign and Fischl make up at least half the team dmg. Fischl better than XL in ST in their respective teams and XL better than fischl in AoE. Both Childe and clorinde are melee characters that lack any form of ingrained interruption resistance, yet Clorinde has self heal unlike Childe. I dont think Clorinde will be all too dependent on Fischl as time goes on. Aggravate is more dependent on Fischl but Clorinde isn't all about quicken. As electro charged gets more fleshed out as Hoyo deems fit like they did with overload, I say Clorinde can be a lot more flexible than to fit into quicken based teams

If think if the devs gave her special ICD to make her ICD lower during her e, but give her higher multiplier, she would be a better character overall. Make her perform better in non-dendro team, like overload or just mono electro, or least not reliant on dendro, (while maintaining her dps at the same level in dendro teams). She’d be a lot more flexible and imo a higher value pull in that case.

It's more like, since you play her with Fischl you'll have a crapton of electro application (on top of Clorinde's own electro app), which will ensure that the enemy she hits always has an electro aura on them during her damage window. The only way to not have an electro aura on them would be when she's not on-field applying electro and driving Fischl, but since she exclusively deals damage on field it doesn't matter. As such, the passive works, and it's a damn good passive too I believe it's only very slightly worse than R5 Finale of the Deep, and if you're like me and have horrible luck with weekly bosses drops, you might not have it at R5 (in fact I only have it at R1... fortunately i don't plan on getting Clorinde, but those who do can at least have Lion's roar as strong alternative)

Keqing was the 5-star that really elevated my account to being able to comfortably clear content. She's got a special place in my heart because of that and because of just how simple she was to use. Unfortunately, at least for me, Keqing just gets left in the dust for DPS and even with a semi-decent build on her she's still way underperforming in Abyss. Was a sad day when I decided to shelve Keqing.

Honestly, furina has really bad pull value. She is only good when paired with a strong self healer (only neuvillette) or a teamwide healer. Your realistic options are effectively baizhu, cloud retainer, jean, on fielder kokomi, or noelle dps. Only problem is, only cloud retainer and baizhu does enough for the team for it to be a gain. For example, if you use jean shes taking the slot of something else so you can run furina, making it at best a sidegrade with worse survivability. You kinda "need" to pull another limited 5* character to use her (and have it be a gain, obviously you still CAN use her, its just worse). Furina does not deserve to be in the same group as kazuha, nahida, and yelan.

Yeah I’ve noticed that I like beidou better than fischl in her teams. While it might be less dmg not getting staggered ever kinda makes up for it in my clear time. It’s a lot less dmg and single target but still enough to clear under a minute

@@cleod7439 It is just not really true, she have amazing personal damage, he just doing it in a lot smaller hit and not one big one. I played the Chevreuse teams and they doN't cleared slower at all. I can even run Xiangling with Fav! If you have her I can advice to try out the Clorinde, Beidou, Chevreuse, Xiangling team, it is really great. I played it with C6 Chevreuse, but it should be very strong even with C0 Chevreuse as well.

Personaly I prefer Beidou over Fischl if I don't use Kirara, but I even had good cleares with Clorinde, Beidou C6, DMC (I doN't have Nahdia), Fischl C3 as well. It was a decent team and I doN't think it should worked, but it did.

I have a perfect gladiator set with her stats being 2k atk, 261 em (coz i'm running her on aggravate team, 67/193 (87/193 crit ratio with passive) and she still feels extremely underwhelming without Nahida

Have you tried the Chinese Skyward Blade tech? With Qiqi C2 Furina and Zhongli, Skyward Blade Clorinde will keep triggering superconduct and Skyward Blade’s additional physical damage because she hits so many times. Healing bonus from Qiqi and Furina also allows you to E after 2 NAs or even just a single NA

Pulled her coz I liked her design with pistol/rapier from the beginning and honestly I'm okay with her kit and numbers. I have so much dps units now incl Neuvi and Arle so I can clear abyss without sweat so Clorinde is again something fresh and fun to have around before another likeable unit arrive.

Quickbloom with clorinde, beidou, furina, nahida feels so much better than with fischl. In single target you already have the hyperbloom to help with your damage. In aoe, beidou is great, also her damage reduction and resistence to interuption is huge for clorinde. You don't have to force yourself to pair fischl with clorinde believe me.

I can't believe that after four years mihoyo released another character that have almost exactly the same core flaw as Razor. Dodging and getting interrupted are extremely counter intuitive with this character kit. I remember playing the first few abyss with Razor and thinking that it was certain that interruption resistance would be implemented better in the future because it was extremely necessary to improve the flow of the game.
