Okay, but what about the networking and connections that you get from those two different universities? It’s like the difference between attending a private institution versus going to the University of Pretoria. My teacher said that her colleague ended up working overseas and most of the costs were covered by the company. Due to the fact that she performed well in her degree at UP. Another example would be that my history teacher ended up working in Germany. Not to say that it was because of him graduating from UP. I’ll have to give him credit where it’s due, since he probably worked hard afterwards. But surely you pay for the opportunities and networking given by the University? I’m naïve on this subject that’s why I’d like to hear more about it. Also the different events that are organised by the University? I know that Stellenbosch and UP are huge on sports events and that sort of culture. That’s me diverting to a whole other topic but I hope I got my point across. Quite an informative video but the way.
