Go for the flares and then flares BOL because then you can take 4 aim9m's with the extra countermeasures without having to actually research the aim9m's. Its the best stock to spaded grind ever!

idk about you opinion gripen slightly have the best KD ratio over all fighters even myself having 2.8Kd with the gripen, and less than 2KD with M4k gripen literally the top dog

Being that I am a hopeless Swedish anything-fanatic I couldn't help but pick up on the comment about the Gripen A being introduced in the mid 2000s; this is not true. The JAS 39A Gripen was introduced in 1996 as the first Gripen to be introduced into military service. You also mention that the aircraft is to be serviced by 5 conscripts and a skilled engineer; this is true to a degree. The Gripen family is to be serviced by 5 conscripts and a specialistofficer (eqv. Senior NCO) which is a personnel category not a proficiency level or indication of occupation. I suppose it's also worth noting that this is for in-field servicing on road bases in a 10 minute time window. The unit cost comment regarding being more expensive than the F-35 is relevant for the newest JAS 39E Gripen, not the 39A. Due to my inherent bias, I also have to mention that this is the *unit cost* whereas the CPFH is much lower, roughly USD $5800 (39C). I'll conclude this message with commending you on the effort going into giving a background history on the aircraft and therefore should not be expected to be flawless, regardless it's a very impressive effort.

src is work only radar, src pd is work radar + filter algorithm, TWS is work radar, filter algorithm and Memory is keeping some last target position + Computer is building curent position with vector moving

You can „soft lock” on a target while still scanning for new contacts. On a normal radar, you cannot search while actively tracking a target. This also allows you to track multiple targets and subsequently guide multiple missiles (iirc limited to a few SPAA’s)
