I tape modded and lubed my RK reds on my rk96 and my god this feels amazing! It feels so creamy now, don't think I need to purchase akko or gateron yellows for now

Every switch hv its own unique feeling. Lubing make all swith more linear feeling. If u wanna smooth better nex time choose yellow

Compare to the Gateron pro red which is pre-lubed. Which one do you think is smothier

Lube sometimes more expensive if u added the labor time and material for lubing😂

My keyboard has arrived to customs now. The video could not have landed at a better time E: ok now I will need to lube it. W/o the keycaps it was dead silent damn. How often does one need to do this?

I have a question , is there a noticeble difference between stock rk red switches and cherry mx red switches?, i want to fine tune my rk68 by changing the red switches to cherry mx red switches.

@@dabonky Hello, I received rk84 long ago lol, also got a rk89, akko 5075 + akko jelly purples. I mainly use Rk61 + hand lubed gateron milky yellows. RK reds are worse than cherry mx reds noticeably. They are scratchy. I don't recommend them. If you need anything else, let me know.

@@ulfricstormcloak7142 i just recived my rk 84 and the stock rk reds were lubed but they definetly need some more lube as they were really under lubed but lubed i was suprised how smooth they are. compared to lubed gateron browns the rk reds are are ten times smoother and just feel and sound nicer

i liked the vid! just a question, i opened one of my red rk switches with a flathead screwdriver, but when i put it back in the keyboard it stopped working. i turned the keyboard on and off and the switch still wont respond

did you try to put other switches on it? or try the switch on another site? you can use some keyboard test app or online website to determine the problem (the pcb or switch). here’s a testing website i found: en.key-test.ru/ hope it helps. :)
