My name is Judy aka “Brave Girl” I found you last week as I was starting to go after the dream I’ve had since I was a young girl, “to write and record music”. I’m in tears as I watched this video. I felt like giving up yesterday. Well I had begun creating my own little music recording area in an apartment. I had to leave my home of 7 years where I created art and had a shop I had built. I decided this would be the time for me to concentrate on creating the music I so dreamed of. I was a single mom many years and had decided to work and pay for my son to learn guitar and be given the gift of music first because he means everything to me. He had moved out last year and I knew I was about to have to walk away from my home and shop so my heart stirred that this was the time to start thinking about learning the gift of music and recording and singing. I moved into this apartment with a friend three months ago I have seven diseases and no doctor care so I am in pain a lot and I don’t take any medication so I believe that music was going to be the healing I needed. But so much has happened in the past few months that I’ve moved that I’ve become overwhelmed so I started to give up on it then today I see your video and girl you have to know how you touched me with this video I am so motivated now not to give up! I think a lot of channels start off with covers later not knowing how it can effect them with a possible copyright strike or even getting the channel taken down. Sure it’s fun I know there’s loop holes but it’s too much work, stress and time when it’s not even your song. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy watching covers but I believe a true artist should write their own songs. There’s many videos that talk about how to cover songs without copyright strikes but that doesn’t mean you’re safe. Even people I know have gotten copyright strike using a royalty free song. A cover song can be on your channel for years and later the artist can choose to remove it, that happens! I think if you have a channel that has cover songs on it I would create a separate channel with only your originals to avoid the possibility of a channel getting cancelled you have your original channel.

They would. But I believe the revenue would also be split to the team whether you like them or not. But imagine building your own team, and you are the CEO and artist of your own songs
