Thanks for the video. If someone was successfully granted a Canadian student visa and then it got expired but the person didn't end up travelling to Canada with the visa. Please what are the implications? Will the person be granted a visa if the person chooses to apply for a Canadian visa again after sometime, like 1 or 2 years later? Awaiting your reply. Thanks.

Laval is exclusively French. If you want your language of instruction to be in English, go for McGill. The problem now is the whole CÉGEP system being overhauled which delays the time and acceptance into university.

Montréal was once great, but not anymore. From discriminatory language bills, politics and language police; to mediocre services that you may no longer be served in English. I find most people here are just happy with the laid back and mediocre lifestyle and just go with the status quo ( 5 à 7), once they become successful and graduate university, they leave and put their talent to good use in other provinces and territories.

I currently lived in Montreal. Moved from South America and my first language is ENG. Can someone survived with just English? Yes, they can. Speaking French will open more doors and as English speaker you will realize that. French Canadians are more reserved but not unfriendly. Thus, it's harder to make friends in Montreal.

I think there's a lot of false positive promotion for Montreal while the negatives are never talked about. Montreal is super dirty, full of litters everywhere you go. There is a huge homeless and drug problem that people seem to not want to address. The health care system is near collapse. The road and most of the buildings/ infrastructure are super run down and dysfunctional. Montrealers are very defensive about their great city so it can do no wrong. This is maybe a fun city for 20 somethings, but it's by no means a good city with good quality of life on a global standard. Don't get me started on their Joie de vivre culture. What a load of crap and excuses for just having dysfunctional everything! I'd like to see an alternative view on this city as opposed to OMG Montreal amazing view.
