My boyfriend was obsessed with this game and ended up getting it for me for the Switch and OH BOY. My first experience playing it myself was multiplayer with him, and then we ended up adding two of our friends for a 4-player experience that has been so much fun! I recently started my own single-player game and I am so obsessed. I was trying to see if I could get lucky and get a year-one community center, but I already messed up by somehow managing to forget to buy blueberry seeds from Pierre in the summer... Maybe I'll still get lucky and the cart lady will sell one along with a red cabbage haha! Love your videos as the girlfriend of a pretty experienced gamer!

I think part of what makes this game so addicting is that it only saves after you go to bed. So you have to finish the day before you can save your progress- but by then you have so many plans of what you want to do the next day! Ah, I love it.

I even downloaded the Stardew Valley guide, to check off community center items, keep track of the achievements I need, etc. I hand wrote a list of accessible, easy gifts each person likes. Also, stardewwiki is my bestest friend. I'm slightly obsessed. And my husband loves that I'm so into a game.

my long term gf broke up with me this week but... This was her favourite game out of the few she ever played, and we always played this together. Great memories, definitely recommend! (She thought that we are on different paths in life that isn't compatible, although I think it could work...Especially since we still love each other very much and it was definitely very very hard on her to break up with me... Sleeping in a different room and even grocery shopping without her has been extremely challenging. But I'm glad this game gave us so much fun experience.
