You can still use that old piston, you just use rings with a smaller gap. You can also sleeve bored out cylinders if they've reached their limit.

Sleeving is expensive compared to a new piston. Also sleeving not that common in india.

I once had a Yamaha DT125R, I blew it up , I carried on riding it , I chipped the top end but somehow the cylinder was OK , I just skimmed the top end put new piston and rings in , Open the power valve fully , it was the fastest 125 I have ever had

Yes, but may just carburettor overhaul would do the job. If not then change mixing ratio.

Sir, in the longterm which is more successful replacing piston rings and piston or the whole block kit?( My bike exhaust is giving white smoke and engine is makeing noise probably rings are broken)

All are equally good depending on problem. White smoke is because of engine oil burning. Noise could be anything. A new motorcycle is mostly always better than a used problematic motorcycle. But that doesn't mean you go buy new one everytime your bike needs a service. So check for specific problem. And money is no issue than just change the entire piston block setup

can you please tell me what do you mean by bore lining? bore is the inside part of combustion camber block, then there is piston and piston rings between these two. please elaborate

Bore lining is a press in press out lining , in the 60's they quit doing that the cylinders cracked , now you just order new cylinders . my 1972 bighorn Kawasaki 350 had a 3.485 piston 2 stroke rings broke ate it out to 3.650 only had 0.10th left on the cast sleeve , I was told they could not press out the sleeve or bore it , have to find a new cylinder . 1990 only way to find one was a Junkyard ,in the USA Kawasaki ,Honda, yamaha or any other brand , after 20 years you can not get parts from the dealership.

Yes, infact a lot refurbished blocks are made by doing exactly this. They remove the lining completely bore it all the way to aluminum. And then they heat the entire block. Aluminum expands ans they put the new lining in. They wait gor aluminum to cool down and clamp on to the new lining. And the bore the lining till the required size. And you got the brand new block.
