Its an interesting simulation experience more than it is a game. Albeit quite a nice simulation. The lack of particle effects for the water or wetness on your paddle seem a bit of an omission. Like being able to splash and displace anything would be something, and would help with getting the pace right for paddling. Also the fact that you can turn your boat into an outboard motor by paddling both ends of the oar multiple times on the same side of the boat, is probably going to break the time-trial racing. Also its kind of hard to play. Not just because it is physical, but because you kind of need a specific chair with no base or sides. So a relaxing game of kayak on the Sofa is out. I would like to see 1) down river rapids 2) down river rapids time trial with gates that require some back paddling to get through 3) particle effects for the water 4) maybe photograph collectables for the existing maps. Or just a camera so you can snap some pictures of your adventures.

I am a little disappointed that they do not update this game regularly. Bought it hoping for new maps, animals, maybe a motor driven kajak... Most of all I was hoping to being able to fish or water that moves like a stream.

The game looks great but def needs more wild life and just more of what it’s already doing. Picking up and maintaining speed gets tiring tho.

This is a fitness and relaxation sim. Nothing much more. I initially didn't get very far, just .3 miles. I got tired, then realized instantly what it is. This IS kayaking, minus packing up the truck, driving two hours in traffic, etc. You can't actually do kayaking without getting fit. So, get fit, or admit your suck arss.

The Pros: very realistic and beautiful looking (at the level of Red Matter 2 and Horizon); a good kayak rowing simulator; much better than Tripp for meditations at beautiful locations The Cons: not much more to do other than the pros mentioned above; likely to produce motion sickness or nausea if you play it for +1 hour nonstop

This is an obvious sign you're completely out of shape. You should use this game as an easy to improve your life. Being fit isn't just about being fit. It's literally good for you in every way including mental health

This game gives me severe nausea and I can't go beyond 10 mins unlike other vr games which I play for hours.

That's a you problem. This is one of the least nausea inducing titles by far
